ABOUT US :

Stéarinerie Dubois, a French family-owned company recognized worldwide for its expertise in the creation and production of fatty esters since 1820. Today, it is positioned as the leader in Europe.

Operating with the principles of the « green chemistry », it offers a very wide range of lipophilic products used in four major business sectors :

Cosmetic / Health / Food / Functional Specialties

Our biobased or partially biosourced esters, dedicated to industry, are solutions for rubber, PVC-plastisol and biopolymer formulations. These additives can plasticize, reduce viscosity, aids processing and demolding.

In addition, with LCA we are able to support your specifications in highly demanding sectors such as aeronautics, defense and automotive…

Thanks to our expertise in oleochemistry, we are subcontracting partners for esterification, oil treatment and wax pelletizing with a melting point from 40 to 80°C.

Esters for Polymers : We offer a wide range of plasticizers, lubricants and processing aids for thermoplastic polymers.

Our oils improve the flexibility and viscous transition temperature, while enhancing the low-temperature performance of different polymer types, such as : flexible PVC, PBT, PET and many others.

Esters for biopolymers: incorporating plasticizing esters into bioplastics improves the softness, flexibility and cold resistance of these materials, which are too rigid and brittle in their pure state.

our esters are compatible with a wide range of biopolymers such as PLA (polylactic acid), PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoates), PBS (polybutylene succinate) and their blends.

without altering the chemical structure of the biopolymer, our oils improve physical properties while remaining biodegradable.

Esters for elastomers: esters are indispensable in rubber formulations. Their purpose is to modify mechanical properties, improve rubber transformation processes and tailor elastomer usage properties.

They can be used for a variety of functions (plasticizers, process oils and release agents)

ABOUT US :

Plymouth Française is a European leader in the processing of rubber into thin sheets (production of elastics for underwear, swimwear, diapers, FFP2 masks, etc.), and has developed an innovative solution for recycling rubber production scraps using a unique patented thermomechanical devulcanization process. This process does not require the addition of any chemicals, which sets it apart from other rubber recycling processes, and enables the recycled rubber to be reintegrated into a new compound (thus saving on raw materials, eliminating incineration costs, etc.). Scrap rubber can thus be recycled ad infinitum. An environmentally virtuous process.

Scraps from the rubber manufacturers : devulcanization services, in order to give them back a recycled rubber product to be reincorporated int their mixtures.

Second life products made by Plymouth : Recycled sneakers, soles, slabs… made from used rubber !

Rubber sheets and elastics rubber tapes used for closing manufacturing, industrial application or hygiene and medical products. Those products contains recycled rubber.

Web adhesive

Web adhesive is a nonwoven, thermoplastic bonding material formed into a lightweight, fibrous structure resembling a fabric or mesh. It is designed to provide a uniform, breathable, and flexible adhesive layer between materials. When heated, the web melts and activates, creating a strong bond between substrates without the use of solvents or liquid glues.

Key Features:

  • Solvent-free and environmentally friendly
  • Excellent breathability, ideal for textiles and multilayer materials
  • Uniform adhesive distribution for consistent bonding performance
  • Flexible and soft, suitable for delicate or stretchable substrates
  • Customizable melting points and adhesion strengths

Applications:

  • Textiles & Apparel – Bonding technical fabrics, linings, and stretch garments
  • Automotive – Interior laminations, acoustic insulation layers
  • Footwear – Assembly of uppers, reinforcements, and linings
  • Medical – Joining of nonwoven materials in masks, gowns, and barrier fabrics
  • Filtration – Layer bonding in air and liquid filters
  • Furniture & Bedding – Foam-to-fabric lamination in seats, cushions, and panels

Adhesive webs are valued for their ease of use, clean processing, and compatibility with high-speed industrial lamination processes. They are available in different basis weights, widths, and thermoplastic chemistries (such as EVA, TPU, PA, PES) to suit various application requirements.

Film adhesive

Film adhesive is a solid, thermoplastic bonding film designed to create strong, uniform bonds between a wide range of materials. Unlike web or net adhesives, film adhesives are continuous, non-porous layers, offering precise thickness control, improved durability, and enhanced resistance properties. They activate upon heating, allowing clean, efficient bonding without the use of liquid adhesives or solvents.

Key Features:

  • Solvent-free: Clean and environmentally responsible bonding
  • Precise and uniform thickness: Ensures consistent adhesive performance
  • High bond strength: Excellent adhesion to textiles, foams, plastics, and composites
  • Thermal and chemical resistance: Ideal for demanding technical applications
  • Customizable formulations: Available with varied melting points, flexibility, and strength

Applications:

  • Automotive – Structural lamination, acoustic panels, seat and trim bonding
  • Textile & Apparel – Bonding of multilayer garments and technical fabrics
  • Footwear – Toe puff and counter bonding, upper lamination
  • Medical – Assembly of medical devices and barrier materials
  • Furniture & Bedding – Foam and fabric lamination for cushions, headboards, and panels
  • Consumer Electronics – Structural bonding and insulation layers

Film adhesives are well-suited to automated, high-speed production and can be easily die-cut or pre-shaped for specific applications. Protechnic offers film adhesives in various thermoplastic chemistries such as TPU, EVA, PES, and PA, designed to meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.

Decorative film

Decorative films are specially engineered thin layers designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functional protection of various surfaces. These films combine visual design elements—such as color, texture, and pattern—with durable performance characteristics, making them ideal for applications in interior design, furniture, transportation, and consumer products.

Key Features:

  • Wide range of finishes: Including wood grain, stone, brushed metal, abstract patterns, and solid colors

Solid State Relays are ideal for use in plastic injection molding machines.

celduc’s SSRs are known for their high reliability and long electrical life, making them ideal as heating element control in extrusion and injection equipment for plastics. Limiting machine breakdowns and maintenance offers long term savings in cost of ownership : once installed, the devices remain operational almost indefinitely.

celduc® relais also supplies magnetic proximity sensors to manufacturers of plastic processing equipment. Safety magnetic proximity sensors ensure operator safety and maximize the operating reliability of your equipment.

celduc Solid State Relays are widely used across the plastic industry because of their ability to function in harsh environments (dust, shocks and vibrations). Fully electronic, SSRs have no mechanical moving parts, so they have a longer service life compared to EMRs. In addition, their semiconductor based design makes them environmentally safe.

Magnetic sensors are a proven and popular choice for many types of applications. They are often used to monitor the open or closed status of doors, gates, … and more in security applications. Basically, magnetic proximity sensors are a first class solution for any application where there is a need to monitor the position of a moving surface.

celduc® relais has developed a multizone controller that can be used to monitor and control infrared heating lamps. Based on solid state relay technology, this system can control up to 12 lamps in a precise and efficient way. Software in the system allows the PLC to be notified of the operating state and possible faults of the components managed by the power controller application.
