ABOUT US :
Redesigning plastics. For good. The new horizon for Benvic
Benvic is one of the leading international compounders with over 60 years of technical expertise in the formulation and manufacture of PVC compounds, technical plastics, bio-based plastics and medical plastics. Benvic’s offering comprises over 2,500 products across six major business areas.
PVC compounds, which represent the company’s historic and main business, are grouped under the ProVinyl brand, which includes rigid, flexible and recycled grades. Through an ambitious expansion policy, Benvic now offers technical materials other than PVC for automotive, electrical and electronic applications and consumer products. Examples include the range of polypropylene compounds under the Dotcore brand, and DotFlex and Linkflex halogen-free thermoplastic elastomers for electrical cabling.
The challenge of environmental transition involves offering solutions with a lower footprint. Benvic is working to continuously improve the impact of its existing ranges. The development of products incorporating ingredients from mechanical recycling is a priority for Benvic, ensuring expertise in the regeneration of post-use materials.
Extended producer responsibility is a driving force behind this development: Benvic provides custom compound design for customers wishing to reuse their own materials or those from post-use recycling channels.
A complementary solution to recycling is the use of bio-based content, which limits the extraction of non-renewable resources. Solutions include the substitution of petroleum-based resins, as in our ProVinyl range, which is available in a bio-based version, and the use of new resins derived directly from photosynthesis, such as our Plantura range, which is dedicated to technical applications with the greatest CO2 reduction impact. The inclusion of fillers from naturally renewable materials is also possible, depending on performance and local availability. Our Linkflex range for halogen-free cable applications is being developed to cover as many applications as possible, such as datacom and renewable energies.
With 8 manufacturing sites in Europe and the USA, Benvic works with its customers to co-develop sustainable, high-performance solutions through local technical support and process expertise. Benvic contributes to the technical, economic and environmental performance of your products. This is Benvic’s mission: ‘Redesigning plastics. For good.’

ProVinyl was created in order to bring together the ranges of flexible and rigid PVC solutions from all of our plants. The result is one of the largest catalogues of PVC reference materials on the market.
Including more specific uses, such as the KCC conductive PVC family, high reliability and certified grades for specific construction use. Our engineering teams offer continuous customer support in order to improve or develop new and innovative PVC grades. Efficient, versatile, and 100% recyclable, PVC has properties that are completely at home within the circular economy model. Within this circular economy, Benvic offers recycled-based compounds and specific environmental partnerships in order to upcycle customer and user wastes.

Benvic’s DotCore PP compounds serve the market demand for the excellent cost / performance ratio that is offered by polypropylene. Polypropylene enjoys great demand throughout the world, and every year sees ever more variants.
The key issue lies in finding the right compounder to deliver custom solutions.
Benvic unequivocally answers that call with DotCore-based PP technology; generating precise and scalable formulations for optimum customer outcomes around reinforcement, MFI and color matching mainly. Other extra such as flame retardancy, thermal stabilization and UV resistance are also available.
A recycled version of PP is also offered by Benvic – Dotcore-R-PP.

Plantura is a proposition to overcome bioplastics weaknesses in terms of thermomechanical performances and processability. Used alone or in combination with specific fillers, their thermomechanical behavior is associated with specific performance such as fire resistance, shock resistance, wide-service temperature range, and also dielectric properties.
Plantura is offered in compostable or durable compound grades. Compostable materials are key when part of an overall recycling infrastructure. Durable biopolymer solutions are needed to more dramatically challenge negative environmental impacts. Benvic’s compounding science delivers both.
Plantura is the biobased alternative aside recycling for today’s upcoming circular economy.

Over the last few years, there has been a shift of consciousness about climate change and humanity’s environmental impact.
Benvic Group is playing its part in this global movement.
Our sustainability strategy is focused on the conservation and preservation of our environment for future generations.
It is grounded on our commitments to respect human rights and ensure responsible business practices across our markets.
In order to reduce our environmental footprint, we favour a three-pronged strategy:
- End-product life : Develop bio-based products and favour applications where our material offers a positive benchmark compared to alternatives
- Circular economy : Take part in the circular economy and closely work with our stakeholders to create innovative solutions that have a genuinely positive impact for everyone.
- Carbon neutrality : Achieve carbon neutrality in the years to come, by monitoring our CO2 emissions and collaborating in decarbonization projects. Benvic is already carbon neutral on scope 1 & 2 of GHG emissions.
Certifications Benvic :
- Gold Ecovadis – 3 years in a row
- ISO 14001
- RSB
NEW INNOVATION
Creating new environmental value
Aside from Benvic’s standard range of compounds, the company offers further value by also integrating recycled material feedstocks. As compounder, our key value is delivering the right alignment of feedstock and its integration inside the compound to provide resource saving material with stable performance and continuous availability.
Thanks to this combination of recycling and compounding, Benvic provides you with concrete solutions for the future by recycling your waste, supporting eco-design, and manufacturing recycled-based compounds.
