ABOUT US :
Dionymer is betting on the circular economy by developing a technology that transforms biowaste into biodegradable PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate) polymer materials using microorganisms. This approach addresses two key needs: reducing waste management costs for biowaste producers (farmers, local authorities, agri-food industries), and lowering the environmental impact of manufacturers by replacing petroleum-based polymers in their products (rigid & flexible packaging, textiles, paper coatings etc.).

Dionymer is inherently a positive-impact company producing second-generation biopolymers.
Dionymer’s approach aims to reduce the environmental impact of polymer chemistry by using second-generation feedstocks (food waste), applying clean processes (low temperature, no solvents), and producing a material with a sustainable end-of-life.
We emit 1 ton of CO₂ per ton of PHBV — that’s half the emissions of the most optimized polymers (according to an independent life cycle analysis).
