If you design, manufacture or use  high-productivity plastic injection molds, you know that cooling is a critical factor for reducing cycle time and/or improving part quality. Zephyra is the world’s first software that allows you to generate complex cooling geometries in just a few minutes or hours, for manufacturing with SLM (Selective Laser Melting) or traditional CNC machines.

What Zephyra does: It automates the creation of optimized 3D cooling channels from a CAD file, allowing you to choose between optimizing for minimum cycle time or for final part quality. It also integrates thermal and mechanical simulation to prevent cracking and pressure drops, all without requiring advanced CAD or fluid dynamics expertise.

Intelligent, Automatically Generated 3D Patterns Zephyra overcomes the limitations of conventional drilled channels by generating complex three-dimensional channels that follow the entire geometry of the part. The result is a more uniform thermal distribution and faster heat removal.

Integrated Mechanical and Thermal Analysis The software includes internal simulations to check for mechanical stress, pressure drops, and the risk of « cracking » in the molded part. It automatically proposes configurations that balance thermal performance with structural integrity.

Validated Design Ready for Manufacturing All geometries generated by Zephyra are immediately exportable as optimized STL files, ready for production, eliminating the need for manual corrections or downstream adjustments.

OptiForm FXT has the lowest coeficient of friction of the OptiForm materials. It helps reducing marks wich is often critical when thermoforming multilayer plastics.

Have you issues with thermo-stamping part finishing? Pernoud has the solution, thanks to an innovative design of a mold and a gripper allowing to manufacture Netshape thermo-stamping part in 1 cycle. Moreover, this design allows to reduce cycle time and production chain by optimizing gripping operations and insuring an improved repeatability and quality.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

Pernoud produces technical moulds for complex parts (partially) made from recycled materials, who are increasingly used in the automotive industry for cooling solutions with our multitube technology. The Multitube Technology reduce the number of molds and machine capacity needed and hence energy used to produce parts. All our offers indicate the CO2-footprint to our customers. We separate our rest materials and work with suppliers who offer recycling services. Our moulds for composite and Thermoplastic high-performance materials produce parts which replace existing metal cooling solutions to reduce weight and consequently CO2-footprint.
