🏭 EN – PVC Film Production & Calendering at CIFRA

CIFRA specializes in high-quality recycled PVC film, vital for water management, automotive, packaging, and stationery sectors. Starting with PVC waste—windows, cards, scraps, and film rolls—materials are ground and micronized into fine granules (100–500 µm). These are blended and extruded into molten PVC, then calendered into continuous film by passing through heated rollers. This calendering step ensures uniform thickness and surface quality. The film is finally wound into rolls or cut to size, with options for surface textures and laminations. CIFRA’s recycled PVC film reduces CO₂ emissions by ~30,000 tonnes, supporting sustainable industries.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

CIFRA’S ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

CIFRA is fully committed to eco-responsibility, for environmental management and ISO 9001 for quality assurance. We valorize PVC waste by recycling it into high-quality films, reducing the use of virgin materials and minimizing environmental impact. Our production process optimizes energy consumption and limits CO₂ emissions, having already saved over 30,000 tonnes—equivalent to removing 33,000 cars from the roads. These certifications ensure CIFRA’s sustainable management aligns with international standards for a greener, more responsible future.

NEW INNOVATION

OLNICA TRACE

OLNICA TRACE

Hall 5 – Booth D04-02

#traceability #identification #authentication #taggant #counterfeit #recycling

ABOUT US :

OLNICA has developed the most advanced and reliable traceability solution to combat fraud, optimize process control and recycling qualification, and ensure product authenticity and data management.

Specializing in coded molecular tagging for materials and products, we support our customers in implementing end-to-end traceability, from raw materials to recycling.

We provide brands with a turnkey solution that includes an invisible coded molecular taggant, portable readers, a software platform, and associated expert services.

Thanks to our patented technology, an ultra-secure and tamper-proof coded taggant can be integrated directly into products — either as an invisible marking on packaging or within the raw material itself — creating a true “biometric passport” for materials and products.

OLNICA is a subsidiary of SOCOMORE Group, a french worldwide player specialized in surface preparation, treatment, protection, tracing and coatings. SOCOMORE has been manufacturing solutions for more than 50 years for the transport industries including aerospace Original Equipment Manufacturers, Maintenance Repair, and Operations.

The OLNICA Coded Molecular Taggant –
The DNA of your material and a lifetime identity to your product:

  • Olnica provides molecular coded taggants specific to each customer
  • The taggants are odorless, colorless and invisible to the naked eye
  • Highly stable, they are resistant to most transformation processes
  • They are introduced in very small quantities, and therefore don’t affect product or material’s characteristics and are very cost effective

The OLNITAG range has been developed to accommodate the constraint of a whole range of materials and applications.

While products and packaging can be traced via an embedded taggant, there are a certain number of cases where it is more practical to insert the taggant on the surface of the material either via printing, lacquering, varnishing, coating or anodisation: the OLNISURF range has been developed to answer this specific surface tagging applications.

DETECTION AND AUTHENTICATION

OLNICA traceability technology is about Coding materials and products with its OLNITAG and OLNISURF molecular taggants but also providing Decoding hardware and software to enable authentication.

To authenticate our taggant, the first step is to identify it. OLNICA provides three different levels of identification, depending on customer use cases:

  • OlniCheck Online Sensor on process lines
  • Olnica PocketLab: unique Optical fingerprint recognition with portable device
  • Lab analysis to detect the unique molecular code, with a legal proof value

OLNICA mobile app is bluetooth connected with OLNICA PocketLab. Your company has control over the field authentication of your products. These measurements are compiled in real time in the secured OLNICA dashboard.
With the Authenticate app and PocketLab, operators instantly check process quality, dilution, or product authenticity.

SERVICES

OLNISERV EXPERTISE: tailor-made support for implementing your solution

We work hand-in-hand with our customers to ensure the optimal integration and implementation of our solutions. We ensure that each solution is perfectly tailored to your activity, your constraints and objectives.

OLNISERV LAB ANALYSIS: forensic expertise for authenticity check

Our analysis laboratory provides advanced expertise to detect and identify the presence of the OLNICA taggant in your products or materials. With high-precision equipment and advanced analytical techniques, we are able to meticulously examine each sample, guaranteeing robust, expertly certified proof.

OLNISERV MAINTENANCE

To ensure reliable and accurate detection, we offer a comprehensive maintenance service for your PocketLab. Each device undergoes a thorough, point-by-point inspection to guarantee optimal performance.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

As part of Groupe SOCOMORE, OLNICA puts Corporate Social Responsibility at the heart of its 2030 strategy to transform itself, its products and processes to support its business and ecosystem, addressing environmental & health challenges. This approach is reflected in the belief that sharing creates value, activating a virtuous circle that enables the creation of new financial, social, societal, and innovation assets.

With the molds, we supply all peripheral equipment like blow pins, dies&pins, masks, deflashing units and spare parts. We have several type of dies and pins, adjustable or static. Our engineering and design department is specialized in mold design and the development of container shapes and technical parts on 3D CAD workstations. We optimize packaging weight and mechanical properties using complex Finite Element Analysis (simulation of hydrostatic pressure, top load, creep load, drop test, transport, stacking, hydraulic pressure test).

Our maintenance department ensures maintenance, repair and modification of all types of Molds.
