As a recognized player in plastic film market MARCHANTE SAS is specializing in designing extrusion lines for biaxially oriented plastic films.

Founded by the MARCHANTE family, the company built a strong team, an expertise carrying over 40 years in the Biax industry. Starting from 2024, Hivest Capital Partners has joined the company to provide the strength and tools necessary for rapid advancement.

As the company achieved remarkable growth and profitability, in 2021, MARCHANTE SAS opened its Innovation Center (MIC) composed of a cast extrusion line and a dynamic stretching simulator, with the support of BPI France and the AURA Region in France, dedicated to researching film applications, especially in recyclable packaging.

Another key area of its expertise is upgrading existing lines and machinery. MARCHANTE SAS offers multiple solutions to enhance performance, output and final product quality such as line speed increase multi-layer (from 3 to 5 or 7 layers), refitting or replacement of sections of production lines (winding improvement, improvement on casting) and many more.

The dedicated Spare Parts team provides services and a broad spectrum of spare parts compatible with a large range of Production lines. 

• Energy-Oriented Products: At Marchante, our primary focus lies in products that are energy-efficient, for instance, our Battery Separator Film production lines and BOPP capacitor lines. These are specifically designed to minimize energy usage, aligning with our commitment to eco-friendly solutions.
• Recyclable Developments in MIC: Our Marchante Innovation Center (MIC) is dedicated to creating solutions that enhance product quality and promote recyclability. Within our Castlab, we experiment by combining raw materials to develop end products that are not just sustainable but also easily recyclable
• Energy Consumption Reduction in Machine Designs: Our MASIM clips are engineered to mechanically stretch and be adjusted, significantly cutting down energy consumption across our production lines.
• Recycling and Waste Recovery Solutions : Marchante specializes in comprehensive recycling solutions, offering customized lines for waste recovery and recycling. From adapting existing setups to installing new systems, we provide tailored solutions. Our pelletizing machines efficiently transform film waste into pellets for film production additives, while optional features like Fluff Silos and Conveying Systems ensure efficient recycling processes.

Our main patented development is MASIM: a simultaneous stretching technology to ensure a precise film thickness and porosity for optimal performance. We achieve remarkable thicknesses, down to 5µ for separators and 2µ for capacitor films.
