For over 30 years, APRO Industrie has been a key player in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of bolted steel tanks. The company offers turnkey solutions for the storage, treatment, or processing of all types of liquids, including process water, drinking water, industrial and urban effluents, leachate, sludge, brine, and fire protection water.

Founded in 1987, APRO Industrie was the first to introduce bolted steel tanks in France. Initially focused on fire protection (sprinkler tanks, firefighter tanks, RIA…), the company quickly became the national leader, setting a new industry standard with galvanized steel tanks with liner sealing systems.

In 1994, APRO Industrie made a strategic shift by diversifying its offering to serve industrial players and local authorities. It introduced glass-fused-to-steel tanks in France and continued expanding its range with epoxy-coated tanks, adapted liners to the type of liquid stored, specific mastics in accordance with project demands, elastomeric gaskets. This ongoing innovation has enabled APRO to meet even the most complex requirements, offering tanks with capacities ranging from 10 to 15,000 m³, compatible with a wide variety of liquids.

With over 20,000 tanks in operation worldwide and more than 12,000 completed projects, APRO Industrie relies on a dedicated team of 40 employees in France and an advanced engineering department. Its experts design tailor-made storage solutions that comply with the most rigorous international construction codes (EUROCODE, AWWA, FM, OSHA) while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

All components undergo extensive quality control at every stage of production: sampling tests during manufacturing, systematic checks before shipment, and final inspections on site during installation. This level of control ensures exceptional durability, highly valued by both industrial clients and public sector customers.

Today, bolted steel tank solutions from APRO have become a market standard, progressively replacing traditional welded steel and concrete alternatives tanks to their fast installation, low maintenance, modularity, and long service life.

Industrial water use

APRO Industrie process water tanks, constructed from bolted steel, efficiently store industrial water used for beverages, food industry, effluent, saline and chlorinated water. Each tank, prefabricated with coated metal panels, resists corrosion and ensures optimal durability. Their modular design enables rapid assembly and adaptable capacity to meet specific needs. APRO Industrie provides a comprehensive service, including custom design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance, meeting the demands of industrial settings.

Potable water tanks

APRO Industrie designs potable water tanks from 30 to 15,000 m³, installed in France and worldwide. Made of galvanized steel, epoxy coated steel, glass-fused-to-steel or stainless steel, with two types of sealing reinforced PVC liner or mastic, our solutions are certified ACS (France), NSF (International). Easy to transport and quick to install, they withstand extreme conditions: seismicity, cyclonic winds, heavy snow. Ideal for remote areas (islands, mountains, deserts, conflict zones, disaster sites). They feature watertight aluminium roofs to prevent evaporation, algae, and contamination. In some regions, insulated internally or externally, they can be mounted on towers up to 25 m for a gravity-fed supply.

Fire fighting

APRO Industrie offers bolted firefighting water tanks ideal for upgrading existing sites or new urban and construction projects, that represent a cost-effective alternative to undersized or non-existent fire protection networks. Galvanized pre-fabricated sheets are bolted together on-site and anchored to a concrete slab. Self-supporting covers protect water from light and contaminants, preventing algae growth. Equipped with regulatory accessories and options such as polyester paint or insulation, they ensure reliable fire protection for public and industrial sites.
