Since 1991, Club Textile Integral, network managed by Union des Industries Textile Champagne-Ardenne, supports textile manufactures in their innovation projects, in their search for information, synergies, partners… The Club promotes the textile companies through textile-clothing and technical textiles promotional initiatives. Through “textile-technique.com”, a portal featuring technical data sheets on regional companies, it allows clients to identify products and companies that answers their technical requirements. We also organize CITEXT, the technical textiles business convention that will be held in Troyes on September 24 and 25, 2024.
We are located in the east of France, near Troyes city and our manufacturers are specialized in knitwear (knitting, dying, laminating, cutting and sewing).

With this solid network, we empower our members, allowing them to meet startups, to integrate collective projects, to work on industrial and CSR transition.

VirHealth is an independent laboratory specializing in virology and microbiology.

The Materials Department at VirHealth offers a broad spectrum of tests to assess the antiviral and antibacterial performance of diverse antimicrobial textiles, materials, and coatings.

The offer includes international/US standards (ISO/ASTM), preliminary screening tests, and bespoke protocols (hydrophobic textiles…).

Our VirHealth lab collection features an extensive array of 80 bacterial and viral strains. We also provide the option to acquire additional viruses to meet the testing needs of our clients. All tests can be conducted in a BioSafety Laboratory level-3, using pathogenic viral strains.

VirHealth, a virology laboratory, performs the ISO 18184 standard to determine the antiviral activity of textile products. We can also assess antiviral activities on hydrophobic textiles following our internal procedures.

VirHealth conducts the ISO 21702 standard to measure antiviral activity on plastics and other non-porous surfaces. We also perform tests on antimicrobial paper, leather, and other porous materials based on our internal procedures.

We perform the ASTM E 2180-18 standard to determine the activity of incorporated antimicrobial agents in polymeric or hydrophobic materials. We can also assess antiviral activities on hydrophobic materials following our internal procedures.

    about us :

    ENSAIT is a textile engineering school, located in the North of France. It trains engineers with a strong expertise in technical textile and management distribution. The school host promotions of 130 engineer students, of whom 45 are studying in apprenticeship. ENSAIT is international oriented, with one semester abroad and 45 PhD students linked to international universities. ENSAIT engineers are trained in the latest textile technologies and innovations to meet the needs of industry. 

    GEMTEX is a research laboratory attached to ENSAIT. It is dedicated to research on textile advanced materials (material and process engineering). Its research activities are organized around three research groups. They are focused on the following activities: Human Centred Design, Mecanics Textile Composites, and Multifunctional Textiles and Processes. Plus a cross-cutting research axis in the field of sustainable development. The textile technologies and industrial equipments (carding, interlock weaving, braiding, etc.) available at ENSAIT enable prototypes to be produced and characterised. The fields of application are personal protective equipment, ballistic impact protection, transportation, energy, medical, wellness … 

    MATISSE
    The MATISSE project proposes to create a new bioprosthesis for tissue restoration following curative surgical procedures, through the autologous collection of fat cells reimplanted on a synthetic and resorbable lace type textile structure. 

    SAFIRS
    SAFIRS offers a disruptive technological chain for the production of on-board electronic sensors on textiles permeable to air flows, to analyse the air quality and energy efficiency of a dedicated treatment plant to its renewal in confined spaces.

    TEX & CARE
    Tex & Care, the Chair in Circular Fashion supported by 25 researchers from the IAE Lille and ENSAIT, aims to support ecological, economic and social transitions to sustainable consumption and production in the fashion, textile and clothing sector.
