Based on the expertise and 20 years experience, confirmed by feedback from a pilot decorticating line, HEMP-ACT is launching in 2024 its HD1300TEXTILE_00, a pre-production decorticating line.
This 2in1 decorticating and hackling line is designed to process :
>1 ton/hour of input hemp straw
>in a combed sliver of long or half-long textile hemp fibers for dry or wet spinning, or UD/roving production
>or short fibers to supply openend spinning mills after cottonization, and the nonwoven industry.
Associated with research laboratories, we confirmed in 2023 that our technologies provide a real breakthrough innovation which offers, for a much lower investment, the production of high added value for bast fibers both on fashion & biocomposites reinforcement markets.
With a price divided by 2 compared to benchmark fibres, our clients will boost industries such as automotive, outdoor and housing sectors to massively use natural & sustainable fibers.
Our lines process also other bast fibres and by-products like oilseed flax, scutched tows…
More surprisingly, our latest experimental works showed that our technologies may valorize bioresources that have until now been neglected or poorly exploited, invasive plants or those from marginal lands : typha, water hyacinth, spanish broom, nettle.
We address our solutions to fibre suppliers (Ag co-ops, textile integrated cies) and machine manufacturers.
