about us :
Les Fils de Lyon and Jet Metal have merged to create a key player in the textile field offering fibers, yarns, woven, knitted and nonwoven metallizing solutions. Through their innovations and industrial capacities, the company supplies all metallized functional surface treatments.
SilveR.STAT® range : Polyamide silver coated fibres and yarns.
Polyamide fibres and yarns have been made conductive thanks to a thin layer of metal (silver) coated onto the polymer. SilveR.STAT® range is available as cut staple fibre, mono and multifilament yarns.
A low rate of SilveR.STAT®cut staple fibres homogeneously spread among the textile material is sufficient to make it antistatic and perform norms such as DIN 54345 or EN1149.
SilveR.STAT® fibres and yarns gather all the advantages of the metal and of the polyamide and offer multifunctional performances. Silver having other properties than electrical conductivity such as antibacterial, antifungal, heat-regulation, infra-red reflection, electromagnetic functions…
SilveR.STAT® fibres and yarns are suitable for carpets (antistatic and conductive), protective clothing, smart textiles, clean-room fabrics, hospital textiles, industrial nonwovens, …
R.STAT/S range : Stainless steel fibres and yarns.
Ultra-thin (8 µ – 22µ) pure stainless steel fibres are processed to become “textile-friendly”. We can offer broken fibres, broken slivers for spinning, pure or blended stainless steel spun yarns.
Stainless steel is very conductive but also resists to high temperatures, up to 600°C continuously.
A low rate of R.STAT/S fibres homogeneously spread among a textile material is sufficient to make it antistatic.
R.STAT/S fibres and yarns are suitable for applications requiring a top-level static protection when specifications are very demanding such as industrial non-wovens, filters (air / gas), protective clothing, electromagnetic shielding, burners, gaskets …
