about us :

KHIMOD is a French climate-tech company, which develops and sells solutions to produce synthetic molecules namely e-methane (eNG, SNG), e-methanol and e-fuels (SAFs), all the while reusing and valorizing CO2, combined with decarbonized hydrogen. KHIMOD is also active on the flow chemistry market. KHIMOD’s solutions are based on innovative heat exchanger-reactors (HERs), manufactured by diffusion bonding, giving outstanding performances at extreme temperature or pressure. KHIMOD actively contributes to decarbonization and operates on a number of markets on a global scale such as air and maritime transport, waste valorization, chemistry and hard-to-abate industries (e.g. steel or cement). KHIMOD is involved in several groundbreaking collaborative projects in power-to-gas (Jupiter1000, Methycentre) and SAFs production (Avebio).

HEVATECH

HEVATECH

#energy #decarbonization #industry #wasteheat #cogeneration #greentech

about us :

HEVATECH is a company specialized in waste heat valorization, installed on 2 manufacturing sites in south-east of France, with test and simulation facilities, and employs a 20 people team.

HEVATECH designs and manufactures its proprietary energy conversion machines, transforming waste heat into electricity and useable clean heat (hot water or high temperature air).

HEVATECH delivers to industrial companies very efficient decarbonization solutions for waste heat sources at minimum temperature of 300°C. Usually conversion efficiency exceeds 70%, thanks to cogeneration (among which 10 to 15% of electricity efficiency), allowing very shorts return on investment. Our main industries applications are metallurgy, forging, casting, glass, paper and special materials manufacturing, waste management (combustion of gases, calcination or pyrolysis of liquids and solids), and power generation.

Our solutions allow waste heat valorization up to 1000°C, using 2 different technologies, based on 2 patented thermodynamic cycles, using heat exchangers with a turbine machine from 300 to 600°C called TURBOSOL, and a piston machine for higher temperature sources called H2P.

We focus on waste heat sources with potential to produce from 10 to 500 kW of electric power after conversion.

MAEVA is a service offer dedicated to the characterization of the waste heat sources, the identification of cogeneration opportunities, and the sizing of the optimized solution based on HEVATECH’s technologies, in order to evaluate accurately energy savings and decarbonization level allowed by company’s solutions.

TURBOSOL is an original process for recovering industrial waste heat from 300°C, in the form of electricity and cogeneration. The technology developed by HEVATECH converts waste heat into electricity, with the possibility of cogeneration by producing heat in the form of hot water up to 120°C. It’s robust, economical and environmentally friendly.

H2P produces useable energy from waste heat up to 1000°C in order to decarbonize industry. H2P technology is based on a new thermodynamic cycle dedicated to very high temperatures, enables the conversion of waste heat into electricity or compressed air, as well as clean heated air up to 500°C, which can be used for combustion air, heating or drying.

ALTRANS ENERGIES

ALTRANS ENERGIES

#smart grids #predictive maintenance #distributed sensing #artificial intelligence

about us :

Altrans Energies is developing a patent-driven solutions for on-line and global monitoring of transient phenomena in every electrical power networks, especially the undergrounds ones. The objective is to identify the early warning indicators of weaknesses in power grids that would conduct, sooner or later, to power failures and outages.

The innovation consists of several units of transient signal sensors placed on the network and which allow the automatic synchronization-free localization of further faults by exploiting the signal deformation due to propagation (TRANSLOCATOR© technology).

A quantum – inspired artificial intelligence module is implemented at the central data level for the classification of fault sources and to extend the diagnosis by the classification of faults. The software and the AI-driven early detections are the heart of our innovation.

Translocator technology allows the continuous and real-time surveillance of a power grid starting from the distributed sensing of transient phenomena (partial discharge, electrical arcs,…) to the global AI-based data analysis.

The information provided to our customers (power Distribution System Operators – DSO) is a real-time and continuous evolution of the grid weaknesses. The KPIs are the type of weakness (corona effect, partial discharges,…), their localization and the risk level.

ALTRANS Energies’s technology allows the global and automatic surveillance of a power grid thanks to the local sensing and advanced artificial intelligence approach. Proven in numerous real configurations world-wide (France, China, Romania, Canada,…), ALTRANS Energies’s technology becomes a very useful tool to optimize the predictive maintenance of HV/MV/LV power grids
