At Filt1860, our mission is simple: to promote and to value French textile know-how here and around the world thanks to our cords and our nets that we have been making in France for over 160 years! Filt1860 is a human-sized team (35), a production workshop, a preserved know-how, a healthy dose of optimism and good ideas that allow us today to export our values and products in 50 countries.
Behind our cords and nets, we want to give meaning to our profession as a manufacturer and convey values close to our heart in which we deeply believe: Authenticity, Openness and Commitment. Our team is made up of technicians and engineers with solid expertise in textile manufacturing. We have wide reaching knowledge of the European textile network which enables us to constantly monitor technological progress. It can be said that Filt1860 is a leading player in the manufacture of technical textiles in France. The development of specific products is the heart of our know-how.
The technical textiles produced by Filt meet specifications of our customers. This ability to adapt our technical know-how explains the diversity of the sectors of activity: automotive and rail, mussel farming, hunting, leisure, aeronautics, agri-food, caravanning, boating, transport, childcare, marine culture, water treatment, packaging, recycling.
