OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

Bordeaux Métropole pursues a responsible digital strategy in line with the mutualisation of information systems across 19 cities, including Bordeaux. The objective is to build and maintain a digital environment that is mindful of its social, societal, environmental, and ethical impacts.

In line with the law on Reducing the Environmental Footprint of the Digital Economy (REEN), Bordeaux Métropole’s responsible digital strategy was approved by the Metropolitan Council on 29 September 2023. The strategy is designed to ensure that digital development is environmentally, socially, societally and ethically responsible. This comprehensive approach is directed towards all local stakeholders, including residents, employees, schoolchildren, businesses, and associations, and is orchestrated around key areas that assert strong intentions.

Bordeaux Métropole’s commitment stems from strong convictions:

  • a desire to be active stakeholders and to work together to implement a digital strategy that is chosen, not imposed
  • a desire for greater autonomy and sovereignty in designing public policy and producing and using data
  • a desire to promote ethics and transparency in data processing, in response to the challenges of artificial intelligence and new virtuel environments
  • A desire to reach out beyond the metropolitan area to create new standards and common ground at local, national, European and international levels

COD

COD

#CollectiveIntelligence #InclusiveAI #CitizenEngagement

about us

COD (Collaborative Ontology Development) is a French deeptech company building AI-powered solutions that help cities, organizations, and service providers continuously listen to the people they serve and turn authentic human perspectives into actionable insights. COD combines conversational AI with human participation to make public consultation and decision-making more inclusive, accessible, and evidence-based especially for people who are often underrepresented in traditional consultation processes. Its technology has been tested across multiple markets and, in 2026, successfully piloted with the Métropole du Grand Paris to make citizen consultation more inclusive and scalable. COD’s vision is to help build smarter, more people-centred cities where technology does not replace human participation, but amplifies it.

COD will take the stage at Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona on 3 November, from 18:05 to 18:55, at the AI × Cities Stage, with the session:

“Scaling Democratic Engagement: Keeping Every Citizen in the Loop”

The session will explore how AI and conversational technologies can make citizen participation more inclusive, continuous, and scalable, helping cities move beyond traditional consultation models and ensure that more citizens can contribute their perspectives to the decisions that shape their communities.

CITYMOOD

CITYMOOD

#GovTech #CivicTech #AI

about us

CityMood is a GovTech platform that helps local governments centralise, understand and manage citizen requests across existing channels. Emails, web forms, calls, front-desk interactions, letters, social media and online reviews can be connected progressively. AI automatically qualifies each request, detects duplicates, identifies themes and locations, routes cases to the right team while preserving a complete history from reception to response.

Dashboards turn day-to-day requests into citywide operational intelligence: recurring issues, emerging topics, neighbourhood hotspots, workload and response times. CityMood works alongside existing CRM/GRU and business tools, so municipalities can improve citizen service without forcing residents to use a new app or replacing their IT stack.

Hosted in France and designed for GDPR-compliant public-sector use, CityMood helps elected officials and municipal teams respond faster, coordinate better and make decisions grounded in what residents are actually experiencing.

EZYMOB

EZYMOB

#Independence #Inclusion #Mobility

about us

For over five years, Ezymob has been working in the mobility sector to help people with disabilities regain greater independence when travelling by developing 100 per cent digital solutions.

In Europe, nearly 100 million people are affected by some form of disability. Worldwide, the figure stands at nearly 1.3 billion.

Getting around can sometimes be challenging: finding your way, understanding information, finding your bearings in an unfamiliar place, or simply knowing which direction to take.

Ezymob is an inclusive mobility app designed to support everyone in their journeys, tailored to their specific needs, whatever they may be.

When opening the app, users can select a profile suited to their situation. The interface and features can therefore be adapted to the needs of people with visual impairments, cognitive or mental disabilities, physical disabilities or reduced mobility, as well as older people or anyone wishing to enjoy a simpler experience.

In particular, Ezymob enables users to plan a journey, view useful information and receive guidance along the way. Depending on the region and the facilities available, the app also offers navigation features, assistance in locating facilities (vehicle doors, available seats) and access to information on accessibility.

The aim is simple: to enable everyone to understand their surroundings better, to get about with greater peace of mind and to become more independent.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

Ezymob’s mission directly supports low-carbon mobility: by making public transport and public spaces accessible to all profiles, we help shift journeys away from private cars and taxis.
Internally, we apply eco-design principles to our digital services (lightweight app, optimized data use), favour responsible hosting, and limit business travel. We are not yet ISO 14001 or B-Corp certified, but are structuring our approach to measure and reduce our carbon footprint.
