Komax is specialized in the development and production of single screw extruders as well as in the configuration of turnkey extrusion lines.
Always attentive to our customers’ need, we strive to offer the latest technologies for our extruders and complete extrusion lines. Thanks to our team’s expertise, we are able to listen and respond to our customers’ specific requests. Based on this, we can develop specific machines und processes that are perfectly suited to their needs.
Komax aligns its development with 3 decisive aspects:
- Compact machines: space and weight saving is the base of our conception. Our machines feature always more functionality and at the same time a smaller floorprint and less weight.
- High performance: constant increase of the specific flow volume, adjustment of the screw to the polymer, we try everything to achieve the best results with our extruders
- Reduced consumption: reduction of the consumption of energy and water through the usage of specific motors, heat insulation, and the systematic usage of electro valves in the water circulation (closed loop control)
To ensure the durability and efficiency of our extruders, we only choose components with an excellent quality and we are particularly careful with the construction of our extruders.
With our partners we are able to propose complete extrusion and co extrusion lines for single and multi-materiel pipes and profiles.

Thanks to its innovative HELICAL technology, this extruder delivers output comparable to larger models manufactured using traditional technologies, while reducing energy consumption by over 25%.
OUR EXTRUDERS
For over 25 years, KOMAX has been designing all types of single-screw extruders and co-extruders capable of processing all thermoplastic materials, with throughputs ranging from less than 500 g/h to over 3 tons per hour – if it can be extruded with a single-screw extruder, we can make it happen.
KOMAX has also all possible configurations (vertical, stacked on top of each other, possibility of removing the screw from the rear, rotating plasticising unit, etc.).
