Developments of certain stacks are made internally or within the COPA-DATA group, allowing a quick response time in case of questions or new functionality needs.

To answer to the needs of programming, testing and debugging for the final user, we provide an Editor with a user-friendly interface, advanced development tools (IEC61131-3 Editors, SCL Editor, automated development…), debug tools (online debug, soft-scope, test sequence …), test tools (61850 Client tool, graphics …) and many other (web-monitoring, programs conversion …).

Virtual PLC & Programming

straton is a fully hardware-independent software PLC. It can run on any type of hardware, from embedded systems to industrial servers, including virtualized environments such as Docker, virtual machines, or platforms like SEAPATH. This flexibility enables fast and future-proof integration into modern system architectures. straton supports IEC 61131-3 programming languages (ST, FBD, Ladder, SFC) as well as Python, giving engineers maximum development freedom.

IEC 61850 Edition 2.1

straton integrates a complete IEC 61850 Edition 2.1 stack, certified on the client side to ensure interoperability with market-standard devices. Server and GOOSE functionalities are also available, enabling reliable real-time communications for substations and critical applications. IEC 60870

straton provides a complete IEC 60870 stack supporting both controlling station (master) and controlled station (slave) roles.
