ABOUT US :

INDELEC is a family-owned group of performance-driven SME, dedicated to lightning risk management. Since 1955, the Group has maintained its production process in France and built up a network of subsidiaries offering a complete range of products and services.

INDELEC also expanded quickly on Export markets. 75% of the equipment it manufactures is exported to qualified partners in more than 80 countries.

Its 300 employees are mobilized to deliver cost-effective high-quality solutions to its clients, whatever is the projects’ complexity.

Lightning is an extremely complex and potentially harmful phenomenon. Lightning risk management do not leave any room for improvisation. Technicians and engineers are continuously trained to upgrade their capability to customize lightning protection systems to the client’s requirements as well as their on-site installation skills.

Lightning solutions developed and manufactured by INDELEC are designed to withstand the worst environmental and climatic conditions.
Such challenging conditions require permanent product quality improvement processes: components, design, manufacturing process or on-site installation are under permanent review to guarantee reliable and performing lightning protection solutions.

The Prevectron3 Connect range represents a truly new milestone in the industry : the first ever lightning rod permanently connected to Internet (IoT technology) through local GPRS network to provide real time information to the client: status, lightning discharges, battery status…

A real game changer for the industry

State-of-the-art lightning protection system, the Prevectron Early Streamer Emission lightning conductor represents the most advanced solution on the market: most certified lightning ESE rod (including UL Listing), patented OptiMax technology, first ever modular conception for more sustainability, real lightning conditions tests ….

Obstacle warning lights include many possibilities, especially on HV lines, our range includes:

  • Induction warning lights: a self-sustained device installed directly on one of the conductors. Powered by the line’s current through an induction system, this light ensures long-term reliability with virtually no maintenance. For transmission and distribution operators, where any line outage can represent huge losses, such a solution provides invaluable operational continuity and peace of mind.
  • Tower marking lights: entire range of obstacle lights, comprised of low, medium and high intensities and built on the latest LED technology. Also available in solar versions to meet the needs of isolated towers, they are great alternatives to inductive lights when installing on the line itself proves to be too difficult
  • Airport solutions: between wind direction indicators, portable beacons and their trailers, elevated lights for smaller airports, we also have a dedicated range of products for airports application giving us greater expertise in the airfield sector
  • Helipad solutions: as LED technology specialists, we also provide complete helipad packages, including a full range of inset and elevated lights. We can additionally integrate Pilot Controlled Lighting systems, fully customizable to meet each customer’s operational requirements.

NEW INNOVATION

Infrared technology: more and more customers are turning to infrared-equipped solutions, and FAA regulations now require obstacle lights to include IR technology. After offering this feature on our tower marking lights for several years, we are pleased to announce that our inductive light now also integrates infrared capability; ensuring full compliance with modern safety standards and meeting the expectations of today’s installations, where no precaution is considered excessive.

ABOUT US :

From transmission lines to skyscrapers, telecom towers and industrial chimneys, OBSTA delivers complete, turnkey obstruction-lighting solutions engineered for absolute reliability.

Every component reflects our commitment to excellence:

  • 100% French design and manufacturing, ensuring total control over quality and performance.
  • Full ICAO and FAA certifications, meeting the world’s most demanding aviation-safety standards.
  • Exclusive patented technologies combining aircraft-grade aluminum and hardened glass — no plastic, no compromise.
  • Advanced in-house laboratories equipped with photometric benches for rigorous testing and validation.

OBSTA has a global footprint with a dedicated office in the UAE, offering local expertise, rapid assistance, and proximity to our Middle East partners.

OFD Medium Intensity Dual Color series

The OBSTA OFD is a dual‑color medium‑intensity beacon delivering day and night visibility with uncompromising reliability. Built with hard‑glass optics and an aluminum housing, it combines precise optics, low power draw and rugged build quality. By day it emits up to 20 000 cd in white, by night 2 000 cd in red — with IR‑compatible output for NVG. Fully compliant with ICAO Type A/B standards and designed for easy snap‑fit installation, OFD‑RW‑048 adds built‑in surge protection, GPS, photocell and smart‑beacon communication. Ideal for towers, chimneys and high‑rise obstacles.

OFC Medium Intensity Red series

The OFC delivers certified medium-intensity red obstruction lighting with unmatched durability. Engineered in France, it combines hard-glass optics, aluminum housing, and integrated surge-protected power electronics for long-term reliability. Fully ICAO/FAA compliant and IP66 weather-resistant, it includes also IR LEDs for night-vision compatibility. Easy to install and built for harsh environments, it has been trusted across the Middle East since 2017. Now, OBSTA introduces the V2, with red-painted housing for enhanced durability and efficiency.

HVLITE – Conductor warning light

The HVLite brings continuous, low‑intensity red warning light to high‑voltage conductors — self‑powered, maintenance‑free, and built for extremes. With inductive power harvested from the line itself, HVLite glows as long as current flows. Its aluminum‑and‑hard‑glass housing ensures long‑term resistance to weather, heat and corrosion, while the compact clamp‑on design installs in minutes with just six screws. Once deployed, it delivers > 10 candela (with IR output) to safeguard overhead lines up to 800 kV. Reliable, resilient, ready the HVLite keeps power lines visible to aircraft around the clock.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

At OBSTA, safety meets sustainability. Our obstruction lights are massively crafted from recycled and fully recyclable materials — aircraft-grade aluminum and glass — eliminating plastic and reducing environmental impact. Designed for longevity and performance, every product is rigorously tested in our labs and produced under ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 compliance.

Our products use Halogen free material, comply with RoHS and REACH regulations and meets the requirements of the WEEE directive.

NEW INNOVATION

Introducing OBSTALINK, OBSTA’s new IoT gateway that puts control and monitoring of your obstruction lights in the cloud. Compatible with almost all Obstruction lights, including competition and suitable for retrofit, OBSTALINK enables power monitoring, alarms setting, and status reports via 4G LTE modem or RJ45 ethernet. Ideal for simple, safe and smart management of aviation lighting installations anywhere.
