Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France’s largest region, is implementing an ambitious policy to support the internationalization of local companies and economic ecosystems. Recognized as one of the most well-structured regional frameworks in France, its tools are based on integrated governance and a range of support services tailored to each stage of a company’s development.
The regional strategy pursues three major objectives: facilitate and secure businesses’ access to international markets, strengthen the international openness of regional economic sectors and increase the attractiveness and international influence of the territories of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. It is fully aligned with a commitment to asserting regional economic sovereignty.
Led by the Region, Team France Export Nouvelle-Aquitaine serves as the single point of entry for international support. This consortium brings together the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Chamber of International Commerce, Business France, Bpifrance, Customs, the INPI, Foreign Trade Advisors, the regional agencies INTERCO and AANA, as well as the OSCI, by leveraging the complementary expertise and skills of each partner. In 2025, more than 500 companies in Nouvelle-Aquitaine received support from Team France Export Nouvelle-Aquitaine for their international development projects.
INTERSCHUTZ : A trade show at the heart of Nouvelle-Aquitaine concerns
With nearly 3 million hectares of forest (representing 17% of the national forest) the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region hosts the largest forest area in mainland France.
Directly exposed to climate change, the region was hit by large-scale wildfires in 2022. INTERSCHUTZ is therefore a trade show of prime importance for Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the regional companies which will showcase their cutting-edge solutions developed to prevent and combat wildfires.
