For over 35 years, APRO Industrie has been a key player in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of bolted steel tanks, delivering turnkey solutions for firefighting water storage.
Founded in 1987, APRO Industrie was the first company to introduce bolted steel tank technology in France. Initially focused on fire protection (sprinkler tanks, firefighter reserves, RIA systems), the company quickly became a national leader, setting new industry standards with its galvanized steel tanks using integrated liner sealing systems.
In 1994, APRO Industrie diversified its offering to serve industrial clients and local authorities. It introduced glass-fused-to-steel tanks in France and expanded its range to include epoxy-coated tanks, adapted liner systems based on stored liquids, project-specific sealing solutions, and elastomeric gaskets.
This continuous innovation enables APRO to meet complex project requirements, offering storage capacities ranging from 10 to 10,000 m³, compatible with a wide variety of liquids.
With over 20,000 tanks installed worldwide and more than 12,000 completed projects, APRO Industrie relies on a dedicated team of 40 employees in France and a strong engineering department. Its experts design tailor-made storage solutions compliant with the most demanding international standards (EUROCODE, AWWA, FM, OSHA), ensuring the highest levels of safety and reliability.
All components undergo strict quality control at every stage: production testing, pre-shipment verification, and final on-site inspection. This guarantees long-term durability highly valued by both industrial and public sector clients.
Today, bolted steel tanks have become a market standard, progressively replacing traditional welded and concrete solutions thanks to their rapid installation, low maintenance, modularity, and long service life.

FIRE FIGHTING
APRO Industrie designs and supplies high-performance firefighting water storage tanks, fully adapted to sprinkler systems, fire networks, and regulatory requirements (NFPA, EN12845, FM).

Prefabricated galvanized steel panels are assembled on-site and anchored to a concrete foundation. Tanks are equipped with self-supporting roofs to protect water quality and prevent contamination or algae growth.
