Truck Cabs transformation

Brevet Carrosserie, a subsidiary of Toutenkamion Group, is recognised for its expertise in transforming fire engine cabins to ensure safety and efficiency during every operation.

That’s why vehicles and cabs are customised and fitted out to meet customers’ specific requirements:

  • Desired seating capacity: cab extension, addition of individual seats or benches, integrated storage under seats
  • Protection structures: internal and external roll bars (FIA, ROPS/FOPS compliant)
  • Roof hatches
  • Seats with integrated SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus)

Each solution is designed to enhance safety, ergonomics and operational efficiency in the field.

Command post

For more than 50 years, Toutenkamion has realized command posts, transmission posts, crisis management posts, forward posts, surveillance posts, … for many armed forces, civil guards, rescue centers, firefighters,…

All these units can be delivered as turnkey solutions on the basis of shelters, drop off cradles, with expandable side or not but also on rigid truck chassis or semitrailer chassis for a quicker implementation on site. These command posts are operated on difficult grounds and can be deployed in 30 min for most of them.

Custom vehicle fitting

St-Aubert Carrosserie, a subsidiary of Toutenkamion Group, specialises in bespoke vehicle fitting solutions.

Its expertise enables it to meet highly specific requirements from clients such as fire brigades and other professions requiring purpose-built vehicles, ensuring the best possible match between the vehicle and operational needs (medical equipment integration, branch deflectors, etc.).

Our main challenge is to design vehicle layouts capable of meeting the most demanding missions.

Each component is carefully engineered to be reliable, durable and perfectly suited to the specific needs of firefighters.

NEW INNOVATION

New type-approved roll bar

We have developed, for some market, a new ROPS* roll bar designed to be installed on the Renault D range crew cab.
Tests were carried out at the DLG (Germany) and confirmed its resistance to the loads required by the ISO 3471 standard, namely 60.00 kN for 12.50 kJ laterally, 196.10 kN vertically, and 48.00 kN longitudinally.
Our ROPS fully complies with ISO 3471:2008**.

* ROPS: Roll-over protective structure
** Our ROPS is in full compliance with the ISO 3471:2008 test standard.

KEPPLAIR EVOLUTION

KEPPLAIR EVOLUTION

Hall 27– Booth H14-e

#Kepplair72 #AerialFireFighting #WildFire #MidSizeAirTAnker #KepplairEvolutionDeliverySytem

ABOUT US :

Kepplair Evolution is a French aerospace company specialized in the development of multirole aircraft dedicated to civil protection and special missions. The company focuses on converting proven regional platforms, notably the ATR 72, into cost-efficient and operationally optimized solutions. This approach significantly reduces technical risk, certification timelines and development costs compared to clean-sheet aircraft programs.

Kepplair Evolution combines engineering expertise, industrial partnerships and operational feedback from firefighting professionals to design aircraft that meet real mission requirements. Its flagship program, the KEPPLAIR 72, is positioned in the middle-class air tanker segment and is designed to deliver high performance, reliability and controlled operating costs.

A core principle of the company’s strategy is multirole optimization. Aircraft are engineered to be rapidly reconfigurable between firefighting, cargo and medevac missions, allowing operators to maximize fleet utilization throughout the year and improve return on investment.

By leveraging an existing certified airframe with a global maintenance network, Kepplair Evolution ensures simplified support, pilot familiarity and strong logistical resilience. The company’s objective is to provide scalable, economically sustainable and interoperable aircraft solutions capable of renewing aging fleets in Europe and worldwide, while adapting to evolving operational doctrines and climate-related challenges.

The KEPPLAIR 72 is a next-generation multirole firefighting aircraft based on the ATR 72 platform. Positioned in the middle-class air tanker segment, it carries up to 7,500 liters (1,980 USG) of water or retardant with a segmented gravity-drop system optimized for precision and efficiency. Designed for rapid deployment from conventional runways, it combines firefighting performance with cargo and medevac capability, ensuring high annual utilization and controlled operating costs from 2027 onward.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS

Forest protection is central to climate strategy: forests act as major carbon sinks and biodiversity reservoirs. Rapid aerial response to wildfires is therefore a direct lever for decarbonation. The KEPPLAIR 72 enhances early containment capacity with high sortie rates, precision drops and extended range, limiting burned areas and preventing massive CO₂ releases. Its turboprop efficiency and multirole utilization also optimize fuel consumption per mission, supporting a more sustainable aerial firefighting model

NEW INNOVATION

The KEDS (Kepplair Evolution Delivery System) is the integrated firefighting system of the KEPPLAIR 72. It results from a strategic collaboration between the IMFT (Institut de Mécanique des Fluides de Toulouse), providing advanced fluid dynamics modeling and drop optimization, and Trotter Controls, a leading manufacturer of aerial drop doors. This alliance combines scientific validation and proven industrial expertise to deliver a precise, segmented, gravity-fed system optimized for efficiency, reliability and operational performance.
