Robotic Depollution and Dismantling of End-of-Life Rolling Stock 

DI Environnement presents a fully automated robotic depollution and dismantling platform dedicated to railway equipment. The solution aims to improve worker safety, accelerate decontamination processes and support circular-economy objectives through large-scale material recovery.

Based on the solutions presented by participating companies, several major technological domains emerge across the French delegation, reflecting current priorities in railway operations, infrastructure, maintenance, passenger services and sustainable mobility.

Autonomous Train Perception System 

Futurail develops a safety-certified perception stack designed to support driverless train operations. The solution combines obstacle detection, localisation and train-control capabilities to enable future autonomous railway services. 

IKOS 

Railway Smart Grid and Power Ring 

IKOS presents the Power Ring, a multi-input and multi-output energy-routing architecture designed to optimise energy management for railway systems, including regenerative braking, energy storage and smart-grid applications.

Novium

Smart Weeding Railway Machine 

Novium’s innovation uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to selectively detect and treat invasive vegetation while supporting sustainable vegetation-management practices.  

RailCap

Automated and Connected Freight Wagon 

RailCap transforms freight wagons through automation, onboard power generation, connectivity and predictive maintenance capabilities, addressing productivity, safety and operational-efficiency challenges in rail freight.  

UIF France / UNIFER

Safer Rail Handling Solution 

The innovation introduces a lifting-aid system designed to improve safety during rail-handling and positioning operations while complying with railway maintenance procedures.

SYTRAL Mobilités – RATP Dev – Wabtec 

Green Friction 

Green Friction reduces brake-generated particulate emissions in underground rail systems through redesigned brake-pad technology, improving air quality without compromising braking performance.

Wemap

Spatial Computing for the Railway Sector 

Wemap transforms stations and depots into digital twins supporting indoor positioning, accessibility, operations, maintenance and passenger navigation without requiring dedicated infrastructure. 

Wiremind

AI-Powered Revenue Optimisation Assistants 

Wiremind develops AI assistants designed to support commercial operations, pricing, capacity management and revenue optimisation for passenger-transport operators
