HVCRC® technology
High Voltage Composite Reinforced Conductors are a range of HTLS conductors made up of a carbon-glass epoxy composite core and trapezoidal 1350-O annealed aluminium strands. Compared with traditional ACSR conductor, HVCRC® conductors allow to double the ampacity of a line or to decrease its losses by up to 30% while reducing sag.
Power Lines Engineering
More than just a material supplier, our expertise extends to many parts of transmission and distribution engineering. We provide ampacity and sag calculations, a qualified range of fittings and accessories, worksite installation training or assistance, and multiple other technical services to our global customer base.
Smart conductors
To fulfill future asset management practices, new technologies are already under development, such as embedded optical fibre systems. By monitoring temperature and sag parameters, a live assessment of the electricity rating of the line can be performed to optimize energy transport across the grid.
