Modeling solutions for every phase of drug development

PhInc. Modeling is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) specialized in quantitative pharmacology solutions to support biotechs in the development of drug candidates, new chemical entities, and biological entities. The company relies on the Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) approach to make informed decisions supported by analyses and modeling.

This strategy allows PhInc. Modeling to integrate quantitative modeling and simulations to optimize drug development, predict pharmacological responses, and identify the best dosing strategies.

By using mathematical models and simulations, PhInc. Modeling can anticipate the effects of a drug candidate in different populations and conditions, thereby reducing risks and costs associated with clinical development. Through MIDD, the company aims to improve the efficiency of clinical trials and accelerate the market entry of new treatments.

First-in-class biotherapies for neurological diseases

Lys Therapeutics is a late preclinical-stage biotechnology company developing first-in-class monoclonal antibodies to treat patients suffering from severe neurodegenerative and neurovascular diseases with high unmet medical needs. The company targets upstream disease biology common to multiple major neurological indications, at the intersection of neurovascular dysfunction, neuroinflammation, and excitotoxicity.

Its lead candidate, LYS241, is a fully humanized monoclonal antibody with a unique mode of action that selectively blocks the pathological interaction between tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and NMDAr, while preserving normal receptor function. By uncoupling this key neurovascular axis, LYS241 simultaneously restores blood-brain barrier integrity, reduces neuroinflammation, and protects both vascular and neuronal compartments.

With operations in Lyon and Caen (France) and strong collaborations with leading international academic institutions, Lys Therapeutics is advancing a pipeline-in-a-drug strategy centered on LYS241. The company is supported by prestigious partners including The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Bpifrance, and leading private investors.

By targeting a unifying neurovascular mechanism, Lys Therapeutics aims to develop disease-modifying therapies capable of transforming outcomes across a broad spectrum of neurological diseases.

Your partner for preclinical studies in oncology

Antineo is a Contract Research Organization (CRO) founded in May 2015, specialized in preclinical proof-of-concept studies for anticancer agents.

Antineo’s activity is based on providing services for the evaluation of new anticancer compounds (small molecules, antibodies, peptides, etc.). The company offers scientific consulting and supports its clients in optimizing the development of their anticancer candidates through a range of services covering in vitro assays (cell toxicity, sample characterization), ex vivo analyses (mechanism of action or target identification by flow cytometry), and in vivo studies (antitumor efficacy, toxicity, pharmacokinetics).

The company maintains a collection of more than 150 human and murine tumor cell lines representing various cancer types (colon cancer, breast cancer, genetically mutated cancers, etc.). These cell lines are derived from patient tumors collected during surgery and subsequently cultured and stabilized as established cell lines. The advantage of these tumor cell lines is their high stability and reproducibility, both for in vitro experiments and for xenograft studies in mice. In this context, tumor cell lines are implanted into immunodeficient mice, which do not reject the xenograft, and different experimental groups are treated with the compounds of interest. The company also offers patient-derived xenograft models.

The evaluation of immunotherapeutic agents may also require complex preclinical models with an intact immune system. In syngeneic models, the team uses immortalized murine cancer cell lines that are allografted into immunocompetent mice of the same inbred strain. These models offer several advantages, including a fully functional immune system, making them suitable for evaluating the efficacy of new cancer immunotherapy approaches.

Antineo also conducts internal R&D activities, through which the company develops original models of resistance to standard-of-care therapies, particularly immune checkpoint inhibitors currently available on the market, in order to evaluate the efficacy of new anticancer treatments. In addition, Antineo develops in vitro 3D-printed tumor models.

Antineo is also actively involved at the European level through participation in joint research projects (EUROSTARS).
