Yachting Celtic For

BACK TO COLLECTION

The Brand

Géraldine Dubois created Yachting Celtic For out of her passion for the sea and concern for the environment. In the 1990s, she worked as a marine educator and sailing instructor in Brittany. Discovering a brand of bags made from recycled boat sails inspired her to create upcycled jackets that were not yet existing, as she wore them a lot, initially for the sailing community. This is how Yachting Celtic For was born, offering unique, artistic, and avant-garde jackets combining style, trend, and ethics.

Yachting Celtic For specializes in redesigned jackets crafted from existing garments, combining embroidery, textile flocking, and bespoke design with strong commitment to ethics. The original structure of the jackets is preserved through a distinctive style. Most pieces are made from military jackets, resulting in chic and luxurious creations.

A Strong Commitment to the Environment

New York is bold, visionary, and the birthplace of countless artistic movements. Yachting Celtic For rides that same wave: innovation fully charged with the energy of the city. During a trip to NYC in 2013, Géraldine saw for the first time garments incorporating recycled fibers. At that time, she was already deeply interested in textile transformation through shredding, when the concept of giving clothes a second life was hardly ever discussed.
