about us :

Pays de la Loire, the new maritime economy
With its considerable shipbuilding and industrial heritage, the region has large-scale capacity, a long-established multi-industry base (shipbuilding, aerospace, composities, oil and gas) and efficient logistics and port services.
This solid background has made Pays de la Loire one of France’s major industrial regions and puts it in good stead to address the challenges of the new maritime economy (marine renewables, fishing fleets of the future, protection and sustainable use of marine resources).

The major Marine Renewable Energies industrial players are all present in Pays de la Loire: Neopolia, GE Vernova, Naval Energies, Rollix-Defontaine, STX, EDF EN, ENYM, EMF, RTE, Valorem and others… which reflects a significant industrial capacity in one and the same location.
Neopolia EMR has organised the region’s marine renewables energies supply chain.

Heavy investments by the Pays de la Loire Region
The region’s economic strategy fully encompasses marine renewables:
Support for large-scale investment for sector growth such as the SEM-REV test site, the Grand Port Maritime, the Anemos plant and the technocampuses.
Streamlined and joined-up governance to drive collective action in line with industry needs.

#performance #digitaltwin #wakes #software #modelling #operations

about us :

Our digital twin combines existing data with physics-based models, from resource to production. We deliver software + services to asset managers & performance experts :
>Wind & Power reference time series, independent from the SCADA
>Performance assessment and improvements, all turbines at once
>Continuous screening or reanalysis, without any hardware

“Is it underperformance or lack of resource?”
Tipspeed not only answers this question but helps you fully understand production and losses across the farm, detect underperformance, and find optimization actions.
——
Founded in 2023, Tipspeed is at the crossroads of Wind, Modelling & Software. Check out our resources page for insights on our technology, case studies and references.

Wind & Power reference time series
Combining reanalysis data, onsite data and physics-based modelling (flow, wakes, performance), our turbine-specific time series are independent from the SCADA.

With a constant accuracy on any turbine and terrain, it serves as a reference of the true site potential, taking into account all of its characteristics.

Performance assessment & optimizations

The digital twin’s output can be directly compared with production data to identify deviations, characterize performance issues and potential gains.

Having wind speed and direction for each turbine simultaneously allows to find and fix unseen problems at scale, from yaw misalignment to curtailment plans.

Continuous performance insights

Reference time series and insights are continuously updated and available through our online application, or your own performance monitoring and reporting processes.

Continuous screening of turbine performance allows to catch any changes, for example once a neighboring farm starts operating.
