Ideally located in the Western Channel, in the North of the Biscaye Bay and close to the Celtic Sea, Brest is at the core of several dozens of Gigawatts of current and future offshore wind developments. The activities are operated by a company shared by the Brittany Region, the City and the CCI.

AMLP and FAST agencies, both historical structures of handling in La Rochelle-La Pallice port, merged on January 1^st, 2021, under AMLP name.

With its 80-strong team’s collaboration, AMLP is a port logistics specialist who offers whole services to vessels, such as handling, shipping agency, forwarding, customs, storage and transport.
Thanks to its teams’ expertise, AMLP is the leader in specialised handling for timber products (wood pulp, logs and sawn timber, etc.), solid bulk (grains, agri-food cargo, etc.), industrial products (steel coils, heavy packages, etc.), industrial bulk, containers and general cargo. Our infrastructure and technical means allow us to offer comprehensive port logistics in line with the highest standards.
We operate modern terminals equipped for the handling and storage of a wide range of commodities.

We are part of the Maritime Kuhn group, a family business created in Brest in 1948. From Dunkirk to Sète, via Brest and La Rochelle, the group benefits from a network of 18 agencies spread all over the French coastline. Port Atlantique La Rochelle is the 6th largest French port. It is a deep sea port on the Atlantic coast and hosts most large vessels 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

It deals with a versatile and diversified traffic of goods. As part of its dynamics for the benefit of the ecological transition, an example of this, is its adaptation, to be a Logistics Hub for the offshore wind energy.

This commitment is also reflected in actions to reduce CO₂ by promoting modal shift by rail.

Innovation, one of the pillars of its strategy, is demonstrated by the development of digital tools and the creation of a Port Innovation Operator for its use and that of its customers and partners.
