Prompted by the Bretagne Regional Council, all the offshore wind players in Brittany have come together in a single entity to promote more efficient industrial projects: Bretagne Ocean Power. Its objective: to facilitate access to Breton industrial know-how for project developers. Some 200 companies in the region offers extensive industrial know-how, covering all links in the offshore wind value chain (from composite materials to mechanics, shipbuilding and repair, design and engineering and smart grids).
As a gateway for national and international industrials, Bretagne Ocean Power identifies the Breton offshore wind partners best suited to your needs, especially in the context of call for tenders in South Brittany.
 
Bretagne Ocean Power is also your contact for identifying opportunities to use Breton port infrastructures for your project: Port of Brest and Port of Lorient are strategically located for all the offshore wind projects in Europe, wich represent 40GW by 2050, with a significant part of floating.

Port of Brest is a new terminal dedicated to large offshore wind project. Port of Lorient is a complementary logistics hub for installation & maintenance. These 2 ports are identified as major players in the Atlantic wind energy market thanks to their strategic geographical position.
