AKROCEAN owns and operates a fleet of modular buoys, self-powered and 365/7 supervised via an onshore control center. They are covering all the client’s data monitoring needs for: wind resource, metocean and environmental site assessment.
We provide turnkey data delivery service to support the development of offshore wind projects.
We operate modular buoys deployments anywhere in the world with the support of our worldwide network of commercial and/or logistic partners.
Two years ago, Akrocean opened an APAC office in Vietnam, managing many projects in the area. In 2023, an office in the United States will be expanding the company’s field of action. This development is made possible by the training of our local partners, our worldwide maintenance capacity and our fleet of buoys that can be adapted anywhere in the world.
WINDSEA
A new generation of floating LiDAR turnkey service for wind resource assessment and metocean measurements. WINDSEA is Stage 2 validated according to Carbon Trust roadmap by DNV. Our floating LiDARs have been deployed in many seas and has accumulated more than 7000 days of data reaching best industry practices.
FLY’RSEA
FLY’RSEA is the first turnkey service based on a stabilized floating bird RADAR for offshore bird monitoring.
This service is based on an innovative RADAR buoy which detect and observe constantly the avifauna. The system is also able to record bats and detect the marine fauna.
SEAOBS
SEAOBS is our modular service covering all client’s environmental monitoring needs.
It combines WINDSEA and FLY’RSEA services to provide a versatile offshore observatory for all phases of an offshore energy project.
