Domaine Saint Vincent

PRESENTATION

Domaine Saint Vincent is a 48 ha independant family winery, based in Vinsobres, southern Rhône valley, producing mainly red wines (PDO Vinsobres, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Côtes du Rhône, PGI Méditerranée), along with a smaller production of white and rosé wines. The vineyard has been certified organic since the 2023 vintage. THe Vinsobres appellation is caracterized by a high- altitude terroir with good exposure to the sun. Soils are composed from clay and limestone. The main grape varieties used to produce Vinsobres wines are : grenache; generous, ample and powerful character and syrah; bringing a spicy character and finesse.

Domaine de Montine

PRESENTATION

A family wine estate is currently managed by the 4th generation, Camille and Melina who inherited their passion for wine from their fathers Jean-Luc and Claude. Their 70 hectares of vineyards are spread over different appelations : Grignan-les-Adhemar, Cotes du Rhone, Vinsobres, Gigondas, Crozes Hermitage, St joseph, Cornas, Hermitage They have been certified HVE since 2017, and use organic cultivation methods. For over 20 year,s they have strived to grow their vines with the greatest respect for nature; their amazing terroir is the perfect playground to create wines with a deep personality and delicate aromas.
Their wide range of whites, rosés and reds offers fresh and fruity wines, but also more complex and full-bodied ones.

DOMAINE CHAUME ARNAUD

Domaine Chaume Arnaud

PRESENTATION

In 1987, after studying oenology and viticulture, Valérie Chaume-Arnaud took over the 5 hectares of vines originally belonging to her parents. Bit by bit, Valérie and her husband Philippe extended the vineyards to cover 38 hectares in the Vinsobres appellation in the Rhône Valley. The Chaume-Arnaud vineyard is located on calcareous-clay stony slopes at 400m altitude.Valerie & Philippe choose to preserve the purity of the fruit and the freshness that comes from this high-altitude terroir, which is why none of their wines are barrel-aged. They have been organically farming their vines since 2003 and moved towards a biodynamic approach in 2004. Domaine Chaume Arnaud wines are a model of subtlety and elegance: the reds are rounded, velvety, complex and fruity, the whites are fresh and extremely aromatically rich.

DOMAINE AUTRAND

Domaine Autrand

PRESENTATION

Guided by their value of shared generational knowledge, passion and respect for the terroir which is unique to the Vinsobres. The estate of 88 ha is divided into two parts. The majority is located at an average altitude of 400m on clay-stony hillsides, the other portion is planted around the family estate at an average altitude of 200m. The altitude produces natural freshness and drinkability, a signature of all the wines. The Autrand family strives to improve winemaking methods and vineyard management to further enhance the quality of the wines as it passes from one generation to the next.

PRESENTATION

An area of 250 km from North to South comprising 418 communes, the vineyards of the Rhône Valley are a world apart, a shifting landscape which winds and unwinds around a fluid axis: the Rhone, king of rivers, carrying silt and a sense of history. The Rhone link connects them all, holding together these contrasting landscapes. From Vienne to Valence, the very narrow configuration of the Rhône Valley offers a moderate continental climate and granite soils to the Northern Crus.

Nestled at the foot of the “Grand Luberon” mountain north of Aix-en-Provence, the Château Val Joanis is one of the largest independent estate of the Luberon. Its location in the lower part of the Rhône Valley though still in Provence, gives it credibility for white, red and rosé wines : the best of Provence in the Rhône Valley vineyard.
100 hectares of vines are planted on 71 plots, which benefit from the hot sunny days and the
cool nights of thisregion. They use Syrah, Grenache, Rolle , Marselan, Viognier, Roiussane , Marsanne, Sauvignon and most recently, 100% Grenache noir for an expressive Blanc de Noir .

CHÂTEAU TURCAN

Château Turcan

PRESENTATION

In 1860, Louis Turcan, a pharmacist and winemaker, planted the first vines on the property, which saw a resurgence in winemaking in 1980. Now in its 6th generation, the estate maintains a balance of modernity and tradition to craft unique wines. Vine cultivation prioritizes a respect for the environment, employing short pruning and green harvesting for optimal yield control. Harvesting is meticulous, combining manual and mechanical methods, with sorting at the cellar entrance. Fermentation involves concrete, stainless steel vats, and oak barrels, focusing on extracting maximum fruit concentration. Aging in oak barrels enhances complexity, structure, and longevity for select wines.

CHÂTEAU DE ROUANNE

Château de Rouanne

Château de Rouanne in Vinsobres, which Louis Barruol acquired in 2019, is a magnificent historic estate surrounded by an outstanding, unbroken, 62-hectare vineyard in an exceptional winegrowing site. Rouanne has incredible soils with the ability to create some genuine epiphany moments, in a location which is “inhabited” by its own geographical configuration and by the souls of all those who have lived and worked here for eons. The village of Vinsobres obtained Cru status in 2006, a classification puts it on a par with Gigondas, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Cote-Rotie and Hermitage, speaking volumes about the quality of its terroir. Located along the edge of the Alps, Vinsobres boasts first-rate geology and a cool climate. The village itself has had a long and eventful history, shaped by the presence Roman nobility, remnants of which have been found today. of Rouanne’s impressive hillside, home to the named vineyard sites ‘Les Côtes’, ‘Rouanne et les Crottes’, ‘Guérin’ and ‘La Palud’, has a geographical profile, an incline and a south-east aspect with soils of red clay, limestone marl and sand. The prime terroir at Rouanne often promotes distinctive aromas of violet, peony and particularly gingerbread in the wines. The palate is always fresh, rounded and balanced with a signature trait – its salinity.

CAVE MONGE GRANON

Cave Monge Granon

PRESENTATION

Cave Monge-Granon is a fourth-generation family winery ocated in the heart of Diois Valley nested between the Rhone Valley, the Drôme Provençale and the majestuous Vercors mountain ( the beginning of the French Alps). Thanks to their organisation, they are producing and selling over 700,000 bottles of wine a year. They produce mainly AOC wines and a unique sparkling wine with low level of alcohol :
-Clairette de Die tradition (Méthode Ancestrale, 8% alc. from Muscat and Clairette grapes)
-Crémant de Die brut (Clairette and Aligoté grapes)
-Chatillon en diois (still wine in white, rosé and red, a small, high-quality mountain appellation at the foot of the Vercors Massif).
