Vinsobres Wines
PRESENTATION
Sonce 2006, Vinsobres is recognized as a cru of the southern Rhône Valley since 2006 for its red wine. The 1375 hectares of vineyard covering 7km are perched at an altitude from 200 to 450 meters, on terraces. Vinsobres is one of the highest altitude appellations in the Côtes du Rhône region. A very particular microclimate protects the village and its amphitheatre of vines. Vinsobres enjoys an unusual but very favorable geographic location, making it a southern Cru with distinctly northern characteristics.
Wines from Vinsobres are characterized by their freshness and delicate tannin. Made mainly from Grenache and Syrah, the wines benefit from an excellent balance between tannins, acidity, spices and red fruits aromas. The palate is balanced, some fatness and roundness coat the tannins and contribute to a feeling of volume and generosity.
