From royalty to literature and French gastronomy, Château Meyre has evolved its activity over time and through its owners who have shaped the estate into a unique place, full of characters at the gates of the Médoc region.
Château Meyre, a small estate with people-centric values, extends for 19 hectares in Haut-Médoc. In 1992, the vineyard acquired 2 hectares in Margaux. Following its biodiversity and eco-friendly philosophy, Chateau Meyre turned to organic farming in 2011 after years of sustainable agriculture. The delicacy and elegance of its wines, supported by the quality of its soils and the expertise of its team, was rewarded in 2020,with the attribution of the Cru Bourgeois Supérieur title.
