CHRISTY’SSELECTION
For the third year in a row, Business France is pleased to once again partner with renowned wine expert, Christy Canterbury, Master of Wine, to put the spotlight on the outstanding quality of the Taste France brand.
Ms. Canterbury, MW conducted a blind tasting of wine references from the Pavilion, evaluating their quality and selecting the top wines and spirits in 33 categories geared towards trade professionals. This year’s tasting included and new and exciting twist: for the first time ever, Ms. Canterbury, MW collaborated with celebrated chef Rougui Dia to pair 16 of the selected wines with 8 bouchées, meticulously crafted using ingredients from the French Pavilion at the Summer Fancy Food Show. This Taste France Selection will be available on both Pavilions this June.
“It was a pleasure to collaborate with Chef Dia on the Taste France Selection”, says Christy Canterbury, MW. ” With this collection, we wanted to showcase the rich tapestry of French gastronomy, marrying classic French foods with wines from all over France. Our menu intends to spark conversation and inspiration around French cuisine and French wines while also celebrating this storied tradition.” Find more information about her selection below, and discover the full tasting notes along with Christy at the French Pavilion at Vinexpo America!
