Enersens now offers a breakthrough solution to meet all performance requirements and regulatory constraints of battery packs: a silica aerogel based advanced material, ultra-thin and very light, creating a strong protective barrier. Designed to be placed between cells, enduring compression stress, the Skogar® is the key product to prevent thermal runaway from cell to cell thanks to extreme insulation properties, excellent mechanical properties and high fire stability. Skogar® products are also used to protect modules and casings from flames and high temperatures during thermal runaway thanks to their extreme stability.
 
Through the use of Skogar®, the key benefits for battery manufacturers are to increase safety, increase cell energy density, increase the number of cells in a module and decrease weight. At the same time and due to the emergence of this new market, our product also makes it possible to respond to new regulations becoming increasingly strict in terms of battery safety.

Enersens is now involved in numerous projects with a key European player in batteries. Our partners produce and sell batteries for the EVTOL, aerospace, marine, off-road and electric vehicle markets.
