MARIT, is a long-established Maker of marine chains, and accessories ranging from 14 mm up to 135 mm in marine grades  (U2 and U3) mainly for the Shipyards (building and ship repairing) the Navies, the Lighthouses and Maritime Administrations, the Port Authorities and for the Oil and Gas Industry.

With more than 120 years of experience in the manufacturing, we can make any type of chains, either stud link chains or open link chains (short link or long link chains) as per as per ISO 1704 Rules or as per our customers specifications.
We also make and supply the associated chains fittings like Kenter Shackles, Anchor Shackles, Swivels, jaw and jaw swivel shackles, pear shaped links …
Established in 1904, and having acquired a great experience in the fabrication of chains, we make High Quality products which can be certified by Classification Societies like BV, LRS, ABS and RINA.

We hold a capacity of more than 10 000 sqm (machinery and storage) with 5 production Lines in order to manufacture a wide product range.
As a result of our continuous improvements, we are also certified ISO 9001 : 2015 by TUV NORD CERT GmbH.
