OceanWings is a French industrial startup that designs, manufactures and markets semi-rigid and rigid wingsails designed for installation on ships of any size and type, helping to reduce operational costs and CO2 emissions by cutting fossil fuel consumption.

Our product range ensures the industry-leading fuel savings unlocked by OceanWings® and confirmed by the fuel savings measured in operations on Canopée, are available to most shipowners, across multiple segments (including tankers, bulkers, PCTC, Cruise Ships).

The semi-rigid and rigid OceanWings® share the same unique ‘two flap variable camber’ design – including the Wingsail base and boom – which is already proven to deliver industry-leading fuel savings over most operational scenarios and environmental conditions. The OceanWings product range also features a “safety-by-design” flag mode, automatically protecting the OceanWings and the vessel when wind or sea conditions exceed specific thresholds.
 
The OceanWings product range includes critical configuration options such as a tilt mechanism, to address air draft requirements, and an elevator mechanism specially designed for container ships to comply with their port operation constraints while minimizing the impact on container capacity. OceanWings® remains the only solution on the market offering a lowerable / reefable design, which is a critical feature for vessels where tilting is not an option.
 
Rigid OceanWings® are made from the same modern composite materials following the same manufacturing processes as wind turbine blades. This provides advantages in resilience and lifespan, as well as leverages a global manufacturing infrastructure to drive competitive pricing and the ability to scale to large volumes. The new modular design also optimizes transportation and installation.

Since 1945, BOPP presents itself as the French leader in manufacturing and selling hydraulic fishing equipments. BOPP is also present abroad providing equipments for skippers all over the world. The firm employs 70 persons who produce all kind of hydraulic and electric winches, net drums, gilsons, capstans, windlasses, steering gears and the hydraulic engineering for all type of vessels. BOPP is able to provide equipment for vessels from 10 to 45 meters long, notably trawlers and is a worldwide known manufacturer for purse seiners till 100 meters long.
The organisation of BOPP allows the firm to provide quality equipments in short delivery time and with good prices.

BOPP has its own research and development department of 10 people.
We are specialized in the design of deck equipments either electric or hydraulic.
We can also manufacture all our equipments in our factory in France (machining, welding, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembly, painting,…).
Our dedicated team of service engineers can travel all over the world to do the commissionning of our equipments as well as fixing problems..
