Wormsensing

Wormsensing, founded in 2020 as a spin-off from CEA-Leti in Grenoble, is a manufacturer of next-generation vibration sensors that combine high sensitivity, ease of use, and integrability – marking the first significant evolution in the field in over 70 years. In January 2024, the company inaugurated its first production line in Grenoble, and its team is rapidly growing, currently consisting of 18 individuals.
Measuring vibration remains a challenging issue today, causing frustration due to the incomplete and compromise-filled solutions available. Wormsensing sensors, named Dragonfly®, provide a simple and effective solution by enhancing the user experience (installation, deployment, measurement reliability) and offer control and mastery by providing access to previously unmeasurable vibrational phenomena.

These qualities make it possible to address the traditional vibration measurement market and extend beyond, thanks to the capability for simple large-scale deployment, including monitoring, predictive maintenance, control of manufacturing processes, or more complex uses like human-machine interface. Dragonfly® sensors are applicable to all industrial sectors and any type of object/system.
Wormsensing offerings include an off-the-shelf product, Dragonfly®, as well as custom-developed sensors with integration support tailored to OEM needs.
