about us :

Murmuration is defined as a large group of birds, usually starlings, that all fly together and change direction as one.

Scientists believe that murmurations serve several purposes, including protection from predators and social communication.

Likewise, the company Murmuration acts for the protection of the environment and contributes to the movement to change
direction towards sustainable development of our planetary activities. By providing decision-making dashboards that help understand the impact of human activity on the environment and the impact of climate change on human activities, Murmuration addresses the crucial need for reliable and scientific data to guide decision-making.

Based on satellite data, Murmuration develops indicators that enable the integration of environmental issues into public and private sector decisions worldwide. These indicators can be classified in three categories: Climate, Environment and Attractivity.

Using satellites allows the company to travel through time – past, present, and future – and provide an objective, clear, and transparent measurement of environmental parameters, reducing subjective biases.

Their use helps territories and destinations manage their environment in a more sustainable way.

Vegetation study in the city of Marseille: the first map analyses vegetation health to identify areas under stress. The second map classifies vegetation types, enabling analysis of the relationship between vegetation types and their health status.

Heat island study in the city of Toulouse using our urban heat indicator, based on data from surface temperature, air temperature, and land use. The tool also offers scenarios to evaluate climate change impacts on urban heat islands.

Air quality study carried out for a regional tourism agency (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes), to assess the relationship between tourist numbers and the environmental state of the destination. The tool also offers climate projections for the area.
