about us :

Bordeaux Métropole is a French metropolitan area with a bold vision for digital public policy. Digital itself has become a global power. We must work to stay in control of our trajectory and sovereignty, through 4 pillars of our public action:
-Digital for all
-Creating value with digital
-A digital mindful of its impact
-Promoting an ethical and transparent digital transformation

“Our commitment is to foster a digital environment that balances deployment of valuable services with impact mitigation.”

Bordeaux Metropole is a European and international player committed to delivering a public policy that guarantees digital rights for all its inhabitants. Bordeaux Metropole shares the spirit of the European Declaration on Digital Rights and Principles for the Digital Decade. It embraces the spirit of the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Bordeaux Metropole brings together 28 municipalities with more than 800,000 inhabitants. It is involved in the daily lives of its residents: transportation, mobility, housing, urban planning, economic development and employment, nature preservation, water and sanitation management, waste collection and management, digital access, support for cultural and sports events, as well as metropolitan facilities.

To align all of these competencies around a structured project that serves everyone, Bordeaux Metropole sets strategic and transversal directions for all its public policies: being a proximity-oriented, innovative, solidarity-driven, and ecological metropolis.
