Located near Belfort and Besançon, Selectarc has two production sites, a logistics platform, an R&D center and support functions at its headquarters. Selectarc is backed by the family-owned industrial group VMC (Viellard Migeon & Companie), which also owns LISI, VMC Pêche and Rapala. The common point of the group’s companies remains the working of metal alloys, combined with a strong territorial anchorage and a long-term vision which supports its development.
Selectarc provides a large range of welding stick electrodes; from the standard mid steel with rutile or basic coating to the highest alloys used for heavy duty sectors where high performances on both special joining or anti wear coatings are required.
Selectarc unique process of brazing filler materials includes two continuous castings melting lines and five extrusion presses which gives a strong flexibility as well as precise and stable chemical compositions for repetitive and perfect joinings.
The silver alloys TBW® range combines the fluidity of the high silver content products with the safety and effectiveness of a tubular wire. The quantity of the integrated flux is optimized and protected from air and humidity. TBW® brings more safety during operation, less energy consumption and is easy to form in various shapes such as rings for effective automated applications.
Expert in leading sectors for which quality and traceability are a must, Selectarc is a strong player in the aerospace sector. Within its welding factory, Selectarc includes tailor made machines to clean and flag every single rod for TIG welding. Cleanliness, traceability and specific packaging such as gas shielded boxes pulls welding performances to another level!
