The AMDP Combi is the combination of a tip dresser and a changer. This machine is to be integrated in BIW cells in order to substantially improve productivity and reliability. It can be supplied in horizontal or vertical position. These guns may be of any size and strength.
The robot approaches the electrode in the AMDP patented extractor, in less than 80 80°rotation the cap is « cracked » and taken off. The changer is equipped with a recharging plate for upper and lower electrodes. The AMDP extractor allows a simple robot path and enables to renew a cap set in less than 15 seconds.
SWING ARM
AMDP brings now to the market the new swing arm, the reference in productivity for tip dressing.
The swing arm offer the most reliable, easy and fast swing movement due to the unique position of the motor of the machines.
It is easy to install due to the multiple possibilities of adjustement, but also adaptable and flexible, for different uses (horizontal, vertical, inclined…).
The tip dressing head can be oriented up to 360° around the swing arm (adjustable from 65° to 180°). Very compact, It makes possible to dress all types of clamps. Conceived in a robust way that eliminates vibration and machine position losses. Many simple adjustement possibilities.
AMDP CUTTERS
AMDP cutters are adaptable to all types of machines and have a life expectancy well above average. Several profiles are available (steel or aluminum). These milling cutters are equipped with a double guiding and self-evacuating blade, and do not require blocking or blowing. The electrode dressing is optimized, for an optimal life of the electrode.
