For 10 years, Stormancer has been providing technical expertise to game studios on multiplayer development on PC and Consoles, including networking, gameplay synchronization, backend, and cybersecurity. Additionally, we developed reusable technologies for multiplayer crossplatform games, with a focus on enabling the studio to keep control over their online stack.

Developing multiplayer games is extremely challenging technically, especially when targeting multiple platforms, from PC to console and mobile. This can lead to increased development risks and costs. Worse, risks are difficult to identity, and expertise in this area is hard to find. At Stormancer we love solving this challenge! We join the studio’s teams to provide this expertise, at the decisional, training and development levels. We can do short missions or follow the game through its entire development.
Throughout our collaboration with game studios, we developed and used an highly customizable high performance solution for crossplay online games, focused on accelerating development without sacrificing flexibility, as well as on enabling the game studios to keep control on their software, their server backend infrastructure and their costs.
