Lifebloom
Lifebloom is incubated at Eurasanté, a Europe-wide centre of excellence for biotechnology research in Lille. The start-up is gradually developing a medical device to help people with reduced mobility, whether they have had an accident, are frail or chronically disabled. “We provide them with strength and balance to help them get back on their feet and walk more independently on a daily basis,” explains the CEO.
Lifebloom’s approach to exoskeleton technology is distinct: rather than imposing movement on the patient, it empowers individuals to initiate and control their own muscle activation, thereby preventing muscle atrophy. The primary objectives are to assist users in standing up with a stable posture, facilitate walking, and mitigate the risk of falls.
