ABOUT US :
PARATRONIC is a French company located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region that develops, manufactures and markets its products and systems for the water cycle, hydrology and forest fire monitoring sectors.
PARATRONIC develops electronic, electromechanical and software products and systems for users working in the water and environmental sectors.
PARATRONIC has always combined its capacity for innovation and research and development with a high level of responsiveness and collaboration with users.
One of PARATRONIC is investing each year 25% of its turnover in Research and Development.
PARATRONIC has designed the ADELIE system, which is used to detect, confirm, locate, alert and monitor fires in natural areas. This system consists of cameras with embedded artificial intelligence located on strategic high surveillance points and interconnected to a central operating system.
In addition, PARATRONIC aims to be a better player for tomorrow’s world, particularly in terms of environmental responsibility.
ADELIE system represents the culmination of 20 years of innovation in early forest fire detection by PARATRONIC. Launched in 2006, the first generation revolutionised surveillance by gradually replacing the manual methods that had been used for centuries.
ADELIE system combines artificial intelligence and 360° surveillance up to 20 km away. It can automatically identify emerging smoke from the forest canopy, both day and night. Data is instantly transmitted to a centralized platform, where operators gain precise visualization of the fire’s origin, progression, and context, thanks to a triangulation system and integration of meteorological data.
In the face of the climate emergency, which is extending the risk of wildfires to regions previously spared, the last generation has enhanced the sensitivity and specificity of automatic detection, addressing the shortage of human resources needed to operate these systems.
Already adopted by 9 French fire and rescue departments (SDIS), covering over 3 million hectares, the ADELIE system enhances emergency response efficiency, reduces intervention times, and limits fire spread, while ensuring the safety of field teams.
An essential technological solution for adapting forest firefighting to today’s climate and economic challenges.

PARATRONIC, a French expert in electronic and software solutions for sustainable water management and natural risk prevention, is strengthening its CSR commitment with its 2025–2028 CSR Charter, certified by the IUMM de l’Ain and supported by a 43% rating on EcoVadis. This approach is built around five pillars: ethical governance, sustainable innovation, social engagement, local integration, and responsible procurement. It is part of a continuous improvement process to align industrial performance with positive impact. In line with 14 of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and certified under ISO 9001 and RoHS, PARATRONIC tracks its progress through key indicators. The company thus places CSR at the heart of its strategy, turning data into concrete actions for the environment and local communities.
NEW INNOVATION
Last generation of PARATRONIC ADELIE system: which is permanently evolving along with our customers’ needs, combining artificial intelligence and 360° surveillance up to 20 km away. It can automatically identify emerging smoke from the forest canopy, both day and night.
