about us :

CIMES France, established in 1989 by five teacher-researchers, is an engineering design office specializing in numerical simulation with more than 30 years of experience. It is distinguished by its expertise in the evaluation of the mechanical behavior of structures and the characterization of fluid flows, highlighting its mastery of calculation methods and its commitment to innovation.
 
Over the years, the team has expanded its skills, evolved technologically and maintained its leitmotiv of technical expertise. CIMES offers a comprehensive approach integrating numerical simulation, test engineering, and data management, while actively contributing to the energy transition through development of methodologies for eco-design and LCA.
 
With a high capacity internal calculation cluster, CIMES performs complex simulations efficiently. The company also offers customized test campaigns, certified ISO9001: EN9100, facilitating the qualification process. With five specialized departments, covering structure, thermo-fluidic, digital-lab, software, and AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction).
 
Accredited by DEKRA and with CIR accreditation, selected as a laureate of the Territoires d’Industrie program, the company underlines its commitment to modernization and the ecological transition, while being a key player in the rail sector in Hauts-de-France for more than 30 years.

Maintenace 4.0 :

By combining digital simulation (Digital Twin) with connected measurement technologies, CIMES is developing specialized methodologies for predictive maintenance. The objectives are manifold: tracking structural evolution, safeguarding operational assets, formulating maintenance strategies, and proactively anticipating potential failures.

Thermal & Airflow :

At CIMES, we combine our proficiency in aerodynamics and thermodynamics. For our CFD Team, the objective is to assess the fluid flow’s impact on temperature and velocity. We support R&D by enhancing climate comfort, electrical equipment cooling optimization, or reducing costs associated with ventilation systems.

Virtual Certification :

The approval process for new railway equipment involves rigorous and lengthy tests. CIMES, a longstanding partner in the railway sector, addresses the challenges by leveraging digital simulations, reducing development time. The process is based on PIDO methodology synchronizing simulations, automated calculation, and AI.

Cimes’ CSR policy aims to prevent all accidents by maintaining excellent safety standards. The company is committed to complying with legislation, aspires to zero accidents, and encourages the involvement of all employees. Priority objectives include legal compliance, adherence to procedures, risk awareness, and incident analysis. Adherence to this policy is assessed, particularly among officials. Action plans are developed and monitored at quarterly meetings to ensure effective implementation, highlighting the priority of Cimes for safety and respect for the environment in order to sustainably improve its performance.
