Its applications address all users (buses, BRT, trams, tram-trains, vehicles, cycles and pedestrians), and is focused on 3 main activities:
– Traffic management: priority at traffic lights, access control, detection
– Railway control: Supervision, detection for priority, switch commands, safety functions, speed instructions, etc.
– Smart public lighting.
 
The long-term relationships built with many partners such as rolling stock manufacturers have also contributed to the presence of CAPSYS in more than 20 countries around the world.
As of today, more than 320,000 sensors have been produced and equipped many roads, intersections, tram tracks, tram-trains and access control devices.
