Federation of Railway Industries (FIF)

#Railway #Industry #France #Train #Innovation #Decarbonization

about us :

Federation of Railway Industries (FIF) has 83 direct members and over 600 indirect members through its clusters.
The rail industry generates annual sales of over 4 billion euros in France and abroad. FIF brings together all French rail industry players through its various business clusters: rolling stock manufacturers, rail equipment suppliers, track and signalling manufacturers, digital technology clusters and maintenance, retrofit and modernization clusters.
Recognized both by public authorities and by all users, players and decision-makers in the railway system, FIF represents the rail industry in France. Its main missions are to help establish a framework and favorable conditions for the creation of value within the French rail industry.
FIF therefore works actively to support the development and growth of the rail industry in the national and international context, by highlighting its strategic challenges and promoting effective collaboration between the various stakeholders and players in the entire rail industry.

FIF has published the first edition of its directory of rail industry professionals in France. It highlights the Federation’s members and lists over 2,000 companies that make up the rail industry in all its diversity, providing an important overview of the sector. https://urlz.fr/pnJs

The result of a joint desire by FIF and SNCF to make the rail industry’s voice heard, this white paper presents the ambitions, actions and best practices deployed by the industry to accelerate its decarbonization, mobilize all its stakeholders and formalize commitments. https://urlz.fr/pnJq

This document proposes 5 long-term measures to strengthen the French rail industry and meet the growing demand for sustainable mobility while combating climate change. These measures aim to maintain and develop the national industry in the face of growing global competition. https://urlz.fr/pnJk
