Rectifier :

The so’rail rectifier converts alternative current (AC) to direct current (DC) for railway substations (trams, subways, trolleybus, etc). Mechanical design was thought very carefully to ease maintenance and reduce work on site. Up to 3000 VCC and 6MW, it can be fix or withdrawable and assembled with other products from the so’rail range.

High Speed Circuit Breaker :

The so’rail HSCB offers protection solutions for railway substations. The design of our compact High Speed Circuit Breaker contains three compartments: circuit breaker compartment installed on a 3-position withdrawable tray (connected, test, disconnected), low voltage compartment and connection.

SRI :

The SRI (Smart Railway Interface) is a protection relay that can be integrated in the so’rail HSCB. It has three main functions:

  • Protection: railway DC line protection complying with EN50126, EN50128 and EN50129
  • Control command: commissioning assistance, maintenance assistance, Modbus communication, IEC61850
  • User interface: fully customizable

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE ENGAGEMENTS :

For more than 10 years, we’ve been designing our products to minimize their environmental impact. We take into consideration material recyclability, weight reduction, power consumption optimization, distance from our suppliers, packaging reduction and optimization, and carrier selection.
In 2023, we started a new program to be trained to life cycle analysis and apply it on our products.

#FormalMethods #DigitalTwin #SignalingDesignAutomation #FormalVerification #FormalSpecification #Interlocking

about us :

Rail transportation such as railroads, metros, commuter rail, trams, are among the most energy efficient and environmental friendly means of transportation. The capacity of transporting many passengers is vital for well functioning urban areas. Electric cars are a good complement, but not nearly as energy efficient nor high capacity as rail transportation.

Trains are faster, more economical, safer and greener. To reach our climate goals the capacity of rail transportation needs to increase significantly. At Prover, we are committed to contribute to a sustainable and safe world. We provide solutions for the engineering of safety critical systems that control trains, signals and switches.

Prover provides solutions for Signaling Design Automation that reduce time and cost with up to 50% for the commissioning of train control systems, with improved safety.

At Prover, we’ve found the formula for a successful rail control project to be threefold:
1.      focus on the requirement specifications,
2.      use automation to develop the systems,
3.      apply formal and automated methods to prove that requirements and safety are fulfilled.

We provide software tools and services to support this process. Ranging from capturing and formalizing requirements, creating a Digital Twin to gain control of the system, designing and developing the code, and finally verify that the system is safe meeting strict certification requirements at reasonable cost, e.g. CENELEC SIL 4.
