#ArtificialIntelligence #MachineVision #PredictiveMaintenance #OpticalMeasurement #Innovation #Difgitalization

about us :

R&D Vision designs, manufactures and industrializes innovative solutions integrating image acquisition, optical measurement and Artificial Intelligence.
Mastering the entire optical, electronic, mechanical, Ux and AI algorithms development, our know-how covers:
• POC
• Design and manufacture of prototypes
• Industrialization and production of value-added optical systems

With Innovation, R&D, engineering and maintenance teams of major clients, we address a variety of needs: Object recognition, Defect identification, 3D, NDT, IR thermography, Highspeed Imaging, Real time, Laser metrology, Deep Learning, …

These few examples illustrate our expertise:
• Catenary predictive maintenance: systems for georeferenced measurements at the catenary level (wear, geometry, pantograph shocks, temperature, arcs, etc.) and anomaly detection (catenary equipment faults, etc.).
• Predictive maintenance of rolling stock: detection of non-conformities on trains: missing parts, loosening of nuts, leaks, 3D wear, thermal heating, etc.
• Railway side systems: Multifunction equipment installed on the railway side for object recognition on trains (logos, etc.) and OCR.
• Embedded systems on passenger trains: Laser metrology systems developed and certified to measure the 3D position of the platform in relation to the door sill to deploy the gap filler and facilitate access for wheelchairs.

CamCat is an optical measurement truck dedicated to predictive maintenance of the catenary. Equipped with visible and thermal cameras, it is used at commercial speed to detect fault points using AI at equipment level. Alerts are reported to generate work orders and plan targeted maintenance operations.

SYRENE is a system installed at the edge of the track to detect and read the identifiers of trains. Coupled with measuring devices on the track, SYRENE has been validated up to 320km/h. The character and logo recognition AI sends the data in real time to the cloud to be consulted via a web application.

SDQ is a platform detection system. It uses lasers to measure the 3D position of the platform in relation to the train door threshold to facilitate access for wheelchairs. The lasers are coupled to a camera and an AI which reports information in real time. Custom-designed and patented, more than 2,000 lasers are mounted on regional trains.

#Rerailing #Lifting #Tramway #Emergency #Jack #Lorry

about us :

SAMS rerailing systems have been designed, developed and improved in close collaboration with constructors and operators. They are available in standard versions or can be custom made.

The systems are the solution to rerail every type of light rail vehicle quickly and safely. They have been tested in extreme situations : tunnels, platforms, slopes…

Essential part of the re-railing system, the CRP rail is equipped with a lifting jack and a shifting jack with 500 mm stroke which allows the vehicle to be placed back on its rails with precision and safely. Convenient handling thanks to the retractable wheels under load and a very low height to insert easily under any type of low floor vehicle.

To be fitted with SAMS’ rerailing kits, the lorry is used in the event of a derailment with bogies or axles out of services. Withstanding up to 30 tons, it allows the damaged vehicle to be brought back to the depot.

SAMS offers a complete kit to lift and allow the operators to carry out shiming of the carbody after wheel reprofiling in the workshop. By design, the cylinders can be either fixed to workstation, or be used at various locations in the workshop. The hydraulic power station is electrical. Various shims are delivered in the kit.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE ENGAGEMENTS :

The SAMS company is convinced we cannot keep doing “business as usual”. Therefore, we engaged in a global environmental impact assessment. It is now a team effort to work towards sustainability.

#Copper #Sustainability #Upcycling #Energy #Emobility #Components

about us :

Since 1823, Gindre has been proud to meet the challenges of the energy transition by providing industry with innovative and sustainable solutions based on our expertise in the transformation and distribution of copper semi-finished products and components.

A key metal in electrification, our group is vertically integrated, from smelting to distribution, via the manufacture of semi-finished products and components. We start with recycling, and support our customers right from the design stage of their applications, in optimizing their energy consumption and therefore their copper consumption.

We play a key role in the future of railways and sustainable mobility, whether in terms of infrastructure and networks (substations, catenaries) or locomotive traction systems (connections, busbars, batteries).

Our values: Innovation; Sustainability; Commitment; Caring; Cooperation are our identity. They shape our heritage and our future, and unite our teams towards common goals for lasting positive impact.

UPCYCLING AND RAW MATERIALS

Vertically integrated, GINDRE is perfectly in tune with the circular economy, where our copper billets are produced after electrolysis from waste. As a result, we have one of the lowest carbon footprints on the market, and we are keen to reassure our customers in a context where copper will be one of the critical metals

SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS AND COPPER OPTIMIZATION

GINDRE masters its extrusion and drawing processes to produce copper bars, coils and profiles. We design, manufacture and maintain our own tools, optimizing the copper to suit the electrical application. Profiles are the products of the age to reduce copper consumption, increase energy performance and enable faster assembly of systems.

machined copper busbars in electrical power distribution cabinet for motor control centers

COMPONENTS AND SOLUTIONS

GINDRE has plants for the manufacture of rigid or flexible copper components. These components are used to conduct electricity from the catenary to the train (pantograph bows) or to transmit current in locomotive traction modules (connections). At design phase, we optimize the copper cross-section and busbar routing between other train components.
