about us :

Founded in 1995, the Association of Rail Industries of Hauts-de-France (AIF) represents more than 120 companies active in the railway industry of Hauts-de-France, a historic land of railways.
 
The 1st French cluster is made up of all the players in the sector: Infrastructure, control command, rolling stock, maintenance, service and training.
 
The AIF is a powerful engine of development that works actively for the
cohesion, strengthening, development of skills and internationalization of the
northern France railway industry.
 
OUR CHALLENGES
Represent the interests of the regional sector.
Better understand and optimize relations between subcontractors and purchasers.
Analyze and prospect market needs.
Assemble skills and promote inter-company partnerships in order to offer competitive offers.
Promote the sector in order to make it more attractive.

NORTHERN FRANCE RAILWAY INDUSTRY MEETINGS

The AIF organize once a year BtoB meetings calling “Northern France Railway Industry Meetings”. This event brings together the differents actors of the regional industry. The day ends with the traditionnal Railway Dinner.

ROADTRAIN

‘Roadtrain’ is a very nice way to discover and promote railway industry. The action is declined in different mode.
‘Roadtrain Student’ is a two-day rally for volunteer students from different studies levels.
‘Roadtrain Girly’ is a one-day event (the 8th of March) for unemployed women.
‘Roadtrain Job’ is an event for unemployed people.

RAILWAY WEDNESDAY

 “Mercredi du Ferro” means “Rail Wednesday”. It is a quarterly event intended for AIF members which allows them to discover a company in the railway industry but also other sectors. The visit is an opportunity to meet and network. It can be the perfect the moment for visiting our new members.

OUR ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMMITMENTS :

We support our members in their decarbonization project through a certification process with the support of the State, the Region, Universities and major contractors.
