about us :
Alsetex designs and manufactures pyrotechnic devices dedicated to civil protection products since 1965. Our 700 acre factory is located in Sarthe (72).
Our company develops a range of products to combat natural disasters (avalanches, birds, hail, droughts, etc.), as well as a range of non-toxic smoke products that respond to the various needs of air tests and training.
Alsetex manufacture and offers two railway signals : The Railway Detonator (preventive sound signal that is directly attached to the rail) and the Red Flame Illuminating Flare (used to signal a danger or an accident, by night or day, after an extremely short set-up time). Alsetex offers smoke pot also, it could be use for safety test in railway tunnel.
Alsetex has a particularly recognized know-how in the production of various effects in compliance with the regulatory standards for the air, road and rail fields.
Red illuminating signal
This illuminating red signal is used to signal a danger or an accident, by night or day, after an extremely short set-up time. It is mostly used in foggy weather, on railroads, level crossings, highways, or as runway lighting on improvised or unequipped airfields, etc.
Railway detonator
The railway detonator is a preventive sound signal device directly attached to the rail. It is mainly used for :
– Ensuring the protection of obstacles
– Signaling work sites on the track
– Ensuring the protection of the rear of stationary trains
– Reinforcing hand stop signals
Smoke box
The P2 range of smoke pots generate a non-toxic smoke that is harmless to humans, the environment or installations when used within the recommended volumes. Main applications :
Leak test, visualization of air flows
Indoor smoke extraction test, verification of ventilation devices
Fire drills, training of fire safety teams.
