SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN
We help businesses build environmentally responsible and ethical practices into their supply chains, from sourcing materials to delivering products. This can save money, improve your reputation, and reduce your impact on the planet.
There are several reasons why companies are increasingly focused on sustainable supply chains:
- Customer demand: Many consumers (B2C) / customers (B2B) are willing to pay more for products that are made sustainably.
- Regulations: There are growing regulations around environmental protection and labor practices, and a sustainable supply chain can help companies comply with these regulations.
- Risk management: A sustainable supply chain can help companies avoid risks associated with environmental damage, labor disputes, and disruptions in the supply chain.
As a consultant, we help companies develop and implement strategies to make their supply chains more sustainable. This could involve things like:
- Supplier audits to assess their environmental and social practices.
- Developing sourcing strategies that prioritize sustainable suppliers.
- Collaboration with suppliers to help them to become sustainable suppliers.
- Helping companies design products that are easier to recycle or reuse.
- Reducing the environmental and social impacts of the supply chain
- Optimizing logistics to reduce transportation costs and emissions.
2 workshops will be conducted by DownunderED during the Fair:
- Climate Fresk (Causes and consequences of the climate change on sustainability of your business model)
- 2 tons Workshop (The 2tonnes workshops are designed to raise awareness and encourage action on climate change, specifically targeting a reduction in individual carbon footprint to 2 tons per year by 2050. This aligns with the goals of the Paris Agreement to achieve carbon neutrality)
